Incumbent Jose Manuel Alba of Lakas–CMD ran for a second term. He was previously affiliated with Bukidnon Paglaum.
Alba won re-election against Jose Earl Navarro (Partido Federal ng Pilipinas) and former Presidential Adviser for Environmental Protection Nereus Acosta (Independent). [1] [2]
