Placentia is a city in northern Orange County, California. The population was 50,533 during the 2010 census, up from 46,488 in the 2000 census. This includes the community of Atwood, which is included in the city of Placentia, and is located in its southeastern quadrant. Primarily referred to as a bedroom community, Placentia is known for its quiet neighborhoods.

Mebane is a city located mostly in Alamance County, North Carolina, United States, and partly in Orange County, North Carolina. The town was named for Alexander Mebane, an American Revolutionary War general and member of the U.S. Congress. It was incorporated as "Mebanesville" in 1881, and in 1883 the name was changed to "Mebane". It was incorporated as a city in 1987. The population as of the 2010 census was 11,393. Mebane is one of the fastest growing municipalities in North Carolina. Mebane straddles the Research Triangle and Piedmont Triad Regions of North Carolina. The Alamance County portion is part of the Burlington Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is a component of the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point Combined Statistical Area. The Orange County portion is part of the Durham-Chapel Hill Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is a component of the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Combined Statistical Area.

King Homestead, now called New Moon Farm, is a log home off Tennessee State Route 25 located near Cottontown, in Sumner County, Tennessee. It was built in 1798 by William King as the first home for himself and his new bride, Caroline Hassell. The home remained in the King family for one hundred years, before being sold outside the family. The home has undergone renovation and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

It is one of three historic districts in West Bradford Township that are on the National Register of Historic Places. The village is largely known for its historic buildings, some notable restaurants, and the nearby Highland Orchards, a pick-your-own orchard offering a variety of produce year round and very popular for its apples and pumpkins as well as products made from the same. Highland Orchards is a frequent field trip destination for local schools, especially in the fall.

Old Towne, Orange Historic District, a one square-mile around the original plaza of Orange, California, contains many of the original structures built in the period after the City's incorporation. It is a vibrant commercial district, containing Orange County's oldest operating bank and the oldest operating soda fountain. The Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997, and is the largest National Register District in California. The Old Towne Preservation Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining the district.
The George Sumner House is a historic house at 32 Paige Hill Road in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The 2 1⁄2-story late Federal wood-frame house was built sometime before 1830, probably for Major George Sumner. Sumner was a leader in the early development of the textile industry in Southbridge, being the first in the area to offer as a service the complete cycle of woolen textile processing, although some work was still initially done in homes, not in a factory setting. The house is notable for the fanlight window on the gable end, which is a late 19th-century addition.

The Lower Arroyo Seco Historic District is a residential historic district in Pasadena, California. The historic district encompasses homes located near the lower Arroyo Seco along Arroyo Boulevard, California Boulevard, La Loma Road, and Grand Avenue. The district includes 78 contributing homes, the majority of which were influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement. During the early twentieth century, when most of the homes in the district were constructed, Pasadena was one of three prominent centers of American Craftsman design, along with Chicago and the San Francisco Bay Area. The district includes a variety of Craftsman designs only matched by one other area in California, a hilly neighborhood in Berkeley. Several prominent architects, including Charles K. Sumner and Henry Mather Greene, designed homes in the district. The Batchelder House, home of tile designer Ernest Batchelder, is included in the district.
The Woelke-Stoffel House is a two-story Queen Anne style home built in 1896, in Anaheim, Orange County, in Southern California. It was constructed by architects George Franklin Barber and Armstrong Davis Porter. The home is now owned by the City of Anaheim and part of Founders Park, in which sits a collection of historical buildings and acts as a museum. Free public tours are available on the 3rd Saturday of every month. Its location with close proximity to the Disneyland Resort makes it a popular tourist destination in the area. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on July 8, 2013. The house is in the Anaheim Founders' Park. Founders' Park also has the Pioneer House of the Mother Colony house built by the city's founder George Hanson. At the park is also a city landmark 1876 Moreton Bay Fig tree, a large Carriage House in Queen Anne style, vegetable garden, small orange grove, a Pump House and windmill.
