Ab Bazan is a village located on the right side of the Kokcha River in Afghanistan. It is about 15 miles north of Kalafghan and about 20 miles northwest of Keshem. [1] It is located in Rustaq District. [2]

Ahandara is a valley and settlement in Takhar Province on the Kunduz River. The valley is crossed by the road from Kunduz to Faizabad, and located about 22 miles west of Teshkhan. There is also a village by the same name in Badakhshan Province, located on the road from Taloqan to Faizabad, about 15 miles west of the Lataband Pass.
The Kokcha River is located in northeastern Afghanistan. A tributary of the Panj river, it flows through Badakhshan Province in the Hindu Kush. The city of Feyzabad lies along the Kokcha. Near the village of Artin Jelow there is a bridge over the river.

Yasin Zia was the governor of Takhar Province in Afghanistan from October 2015 to May 2017. He was promoted to Deputy Defense Minister on March 27, 2019, and became the Army Chief of Staff in 2020. Zia has also served as the deputy director general of NDS for operations.
