Agriculture University, Kota (AUK) is an agricultural university [1] situated in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It was established in 2013 by the Government of Rajasthan under Agriculture University, Kota Act, 2013, [2] by bifurcating Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology and Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University. Its jurisdiction covers six districts, namely Kota, Baran, Bundi, Jhalawar, Karauli and Sawai Madhopur. [3] Dinesh Chandra Joshi was appointed vice chancellor in 2019. [4]

Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University

Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), formerly Rajasthan Agricultural University, is a state agricultural university located in Bikaner in the Indian state Rajasthan. The university, formerly a part of the Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur became a separate entity in 1987 through Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner Act, 1987. It was renamed after freedom fighter and social reformer Swami Keshwanand in 2009. Raksha Pal Singh was appointed vice chancellor in 2019.

Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology is in Udaipur city in Rajasthan state in India. The government of Rajasthan founded this university by the bifurcation of Rajasthan Agriculture University, Bikaner on 1 November 1999. Since then it has been the principal academic institution supporting mainly south and south-eastern parts of Rajasthan, taking the national responsibility of identifying, designing, preparing and adapting new techniques in the field of production technology for agricultural development. Vardhman Mahaveer Open University is an open university in Kota, Rajasthan, India, established on 23 July 1987, and was initially known as Kota Open University. focussing particularly on the humanities, commerce, library science and informatics. It is geographically distributed throughout Rajasthan, with regional centres in Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur and Bharatpur, and several tens of "study centres" in cities, in addition to a special centre at New Delhi. Ratan Lal Godara was appointed vice chancellor in 2019.

University of Kota

The University of Kota (UOK) is a public university in Kota, Rajasthan, India. It was established through the University of Kota Act 2003, enacted by the Rajasthan State Legislature and assented by the Governor of Rajasthan. Prof. B. L. Verma was appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of the University and Sh. N.C. Jain, The Governor of Rajasthan was the first chancellor of the University. The University is recognized by the UGC under 2(f) in year 2003 and under 12(b) in year 2012. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses along with research.
