French electronic music duo Air has released six studio albums, one collaborative studio album, two soundtrack albums, one mix album, one compilation album, one remix album, two video albums, one extended play, twenty-two singles and sixteen music videos. The band's first release was the 1995 single "Modular Mix", which peaked at number 177 in the United Kingdom. [1] Their debut extended play, Premiers Symptômes , was released in July 1997; it peaked at number 12 in the UK and was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). [2] [3] Moon Safari , Air's debut studio album, was released in January 1998. It peaked at number 21 in France and was certified gold by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP). [4] [5] Moon Safari reached the top ten in countries such as Ireland and the UK and produced three singles: "Sexy Boy", "Kelly Watch the Stars" and "All I Need". [2] [6] All three singles reached the top 40 in the UK; "Sexy Boy" and "All I Need" reached the top 25 in Finland and the Netherlands respectively. [1] [7] [8]

In 1999, Air composed the score for the film The Virgin Suicides , and an accompanying album was released in February 2000. The album peaked at number 34 in France and was certified gold by the SNEP. [4] [9] "Playground Love", the album's only single, peaked at number 25 in the UK. [1] The band's second studio album, 10 000 Hz Legend , was released in May 2001, peaking at number seven in France and charting highly in several European countries. [4] 10 000 Hz Legend produced four singles: "Radio #1", which peaked at number 31 in the UK, [1] "Don't Be Light", "How Does It Make You Feel?" and "People in the City". City Reading (Tre Storie Western) , a collaboration with Italian writer Alessandro Baricco, was released in May 2003. Talkie Walkie followed in January 2004, peaking at number three in France. [4] It became the band's first number-one album in Ireland and received a gold certification from the Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). [6] [10] The album's lead single, "Cherry Blossom Girl", became a top 15 hit in Finland and charted in several other European countries. [7] Pocket Symphony , the band's fourth studio album, was released in March 2007, peaking at number eight in France and producing two singles: "Once Upon a Time" and "Mer du Japon". [4]

In October 2009, Air released their fifth studio album, Love 2 ; it peaked at number 12 in France. [4] The album produced three singles: "Do the Joy", "Sing Sang Sung", which charted in the Belgian region of Wallonia, [11] and "So Light Is Her Footfall". Le voyage dans la lune , the band's sixth studio album, was released in February 2012. It peaked at number 17 in France and produced two singles: "Seven Stars" and "Parade", the latter of which charted in the Belgian region of Flanders. [4] [12]

American rock band Train has released 11 studio albums, two live albums, one compilation album, one video album, four extended plays, 34 singles, six promotional singles, and 29 music videos. The band independently released their eponymous debut studio album in 1996, two years after their formation. In February 1998, the band signed to Aware Records and Columbia Records and re-released the album under the two labels. Three singles were released from Train; the album's second single, "Meet Virginia", peaked at number 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The album peaked at number 76 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In the period following the release of Train, producer Brendan O'Brien started working with the band in a partnership that would last for three albums. The band released their second studio album Drops of Jupiter in March 2001; it was preceded by the release of its lead single, "Drops of Jupiter ". The single became a commercial success, peaking at number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 and also becoming a top 10 hit in Australia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. "Drops of Jupiter " also won an award for Best Rock Song at the 44th Grammy Awards. The album peaked at number six on the Billboard 200, earning a double platinum certification from the RIAA. "She's on Fire", the third single from Drops of Jupiter, achieved moderate success in Australia and the UK. Train's third studio album, My Private Nation, was released in June 2003. It peaked at number six on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the RIAA. The album's first two singles, "Calling All Angels" and "When I Look to the Sky", peaked at numbers 19 and 74 respectively on the Billboard Hot 100. The band released their fourth studio album For Me, It's You in January 2006. The album peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and spawned three singles.

LMFAO discography

The discography of American electro and hip hop duo LMFAO consists of two studio albums, one extended play, sixteen singles and fifteen music videos. Consisting of rappers and singers Redfoo and SkyBlu, the duo was formed in 2006 in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades. LMFAO began their career in the Los Angeles club circuit, where they were met with positive reception. American hip hop recording artist will.i.am brought the duo to the attention of industry executive Jimmy Iovine, who signed them to his label Interscope Records.
