The following is a complete list of the filmography of Indian actor Satish Kaushik.
Brati's father (Anupam Kher) was aware of his son's leanings but rejected his son's revolutionary ideals.
Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai is about one Sooraj Dhanrajgir (Salman Khan), a rich playboy, lightening the financial burden of his industrialist grandfather (Anupam Kher), spending the stuff on wine and women.
Anupam Kher, despite being a software giant, is never seen before a machine. And, he's just wasted anyway.
Satish Kaushik does a good job in a cameo as a dealer in Chor Bazar while Anupam Kher forgets the established idiosyncrasies of his character when it comes to the serious scenes.
For once, Anupam Kher is overshadowed. Though his role is a bit like the one Asrani etched in Chupke Chupke, he does not leave a lasting impression. Maybe his characterisation is not as strong as in Hrishida's earlier films.
Anupam Kher is a clone of Amrish Puri in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge and Pardes -- an Indian father who thinks Western culture corrupts, but Indian culture puts everything right. So the mini-clad Mink won't do, but Kajol in a salwar kameez is perfect. On the whole, his role has no unusual shades to it.
Aruna Irani, Kader Khan and Anupam Kher are good, as usual.
The story revolves around Sapna (Karisma Kapoor), an innocent 19-year-old, trying to simultaneously please all three of her eccentric uncles (Om Puri, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher), each of whom has an idiosyncrasy.
