The 2015 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, or the 28th SEA Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2015, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held by the city-state of Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015, It was the fourth time the country hosted the games. Singapore had previously also hosted the games in 1973, 1983 and the 1993 editions.
The Southeast Asian Swimming Championships are a biennial aquatics championships for countries from Southeast Asia organised by South East Asian Swimming Federation (SEASF). These championships include competition in Swimming, Diving, Synchronized Swimming (synchro), and Water Polo. The first edition of these championships were the aquatics competitions at the 2012 Southeast Asian Swimming Championships held in June 2012 in Singapore. Championships among masters began 2019.
The men's 200 metres at the 2013 SEA Games, the athletics was held in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. The track and field events took place at the Wunna Theikdi Stadiumon December 18.
Mohammed Faritz bin Abdul Hameed is a Singaporean former professional footballer who last played as a centre-back and right-back for S.League club Tanjong Pagar United and the Singapore national team.
Lance Tan Wei Sheng is a former Singaporean track and field athlete and track cyclist who competes internationally for Singapore. Tan is a multiple National Champion and record holder in various disciplines. Tan won the bronze medal at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games and competed in the decathlon at the 2015 South East Asian Games, before successfully switching sport to track cycling, representing Singapore at the 2017 South East Asian Games in 3 events.
Badminton at the 2015 SEA Games is held in Singapore Indoor Stadium, in Kallang, Singapore from 10 to 16 June 2015. Seven competitions were held in men and women's singles and in men, women and mixed's doubles and in men and women's team.

Medals were awarded in one event for men's competitions. There were match-fixing scandals involving East Timor team with several other teams.
Athletics competitions at the 2015 SEA Games were held at the National Stadium, East Coast Park and Kallang Practice Track in Singapore from 6 to 12 June. A total of 46 athletics events are featured at the 28th SEA Games, divided evenly between the sexes. The marathon started and finished in the stadium and had a route in the surrounding area including the East Coast Park, Marina Bay and the Gardens by the Bay.
