The Ayensuano constituency is in the Eastern region of Ghana. As of 2008 the member of Parliament for the constituency is Samuel Ayeh-Paye. He was elected on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and won a majority of 3,892 votes more than candidate closest in the race, to win the constituency election to become the MP. [1] He succeeded Godfred Kwame Otsere who had represented the constituency in the 4th Republican parliament on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

In the 2020 Ghanaian general election, Teddy Safori Addi of the National Democratic Congress (Ghana), beat Samuel Ayeh-Paye of the New Patriotic Party by garnering 19,211 votes while his predecessor managed 18,970 votes.
