The Buick Envista is a compact crossover SUV manufactured by General Motors and marketed under the Buick brand since 2022. It shares the GM VSS-F platform with the Chevrolet Trax (marketed as the Seeker in China).
Presented for the Chinese market in August 2022, [1] GM introduced the Envista in April 2023 in the United States and Canada. [2] The Envista is manufactured in Changwon, South Korea by GM Korea and in China by SAIC-GM.
In China, the Envista is equipped with the GM small gasoline engine (LYX), a turbocharged 1.5-liter gasoline straight-four engine that produces 181 horsepower (135 kW) and 183 pound-feet (248 N⋅m) of torque paired with a continuously variable transmission.
In the North American market, the Envista is powered by the GM E-Turbo engine (LIH), a turbocharged 1.2-liter gasoline straight-three engine rated at 136 horsepower (101 kW) and 162 pound-feet (220 N⋅m) of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. [3] The Envista is offered in three trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring (ST) and Avenir, each with front-wheel drive. [4]
Front suspension uses McPherson struts and rear suspension uses a compound crank semi-independent twist beam (or torsion beam) rear suspension with a Watts linkage standard on the Avenir trim and available on ST. [4]
The interior of the Envista features a single panel combining an 8-inch screen for driver instruments and an 11-inch infotainment screen. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are offered, as well as over-the-air updates and a surround-sound audio system. [2] The front door panels and dashboard feature stitched elements, and the Avenir and ST trim levels feature embroidered head restraints logos. [4]
Black 18-inch alloy wheels are standard on the ST trim, with 19-inch wheels available. Bright gray 19-inch alloy wheels are standard on the Avenir. [4]
The Envista has an EPA listed passenger volume of 97.5 cu ft (2.76 m3) and maximum cargo volume of 20.7 cu ft (0.59 m3) behind the rear seat and 42 cu ft (1.2 m3) with the rear seat folded. [4]

The Buick Enclave is a three-row full-size crossover SUV produced by General Motors since 2007. It was previewed at the 2006 North American International Auto Show, officially as a concept car, making it the first Lambda vehicle to be displayed. The Enclave is partially based on the Buick Centieme concept shown at the 2003 Detroit Auto Show.

The Chevrolet Onix is a subcompact car launched by American automaker Chevrolet in Brazil at the 2012 São Paulo International Motor Show and the second generation in China at the 2019 Shanghai Auto Show. In Brazil, it was launched to replace the Chevrolet Corsa and some versions of the Chevrolet Celta. Mainly produced in General Motors Brazil’s plants in Gravataí and São Caetano do Sul, the Onix is a five-door hatchback. A sedan version is sold as the Chevrolet Onix Plus in Brazil, and as the Onix sedan in Colombia. The Onix has also been produced in Uzbekistan since 2022 by UzAuto Motors.
The Baojun 730 is a seven-seat compact MPV produced by SAIC-GM-Wuling through the Baojun brand. The 730 was launched at the 2014 Auto China and developed at the SAIC-GM-Wuling Chinese joint venture specifically for the Chinese market. Baojun sold 250,000 units of the car in the first year of sales.
The MG ZS is a subcompact crossover SUV produced by the Chinese automotive manufacturer SAIC Motor under the British MG marque. Announced at the 2016 Guangzhou Auto Show in China, the MG ZS is the second SUV to be produced under the MG marque after the MG GS. The vehicle went into production in December 2018 and sales began in January 2019 as a 2019 model. In China, a version with longer rear section and optional three-row seating is offered, which debuted in 2019 and went on sale in April 2020.

The Buick Encore GX is a subcompact crossover SUV built by General Motors starting in 2019. Like the smaller Encore and the related Chevrolet Trailblazer, the Encore GX is manufactured by GM Korea. In China, it is manufactured by the SAIC-GM joint venture.
The Volkswagen Taos is a compact crossover SUV manufactured and marketed by Volkswagen. It was first released in October 2018 as the Volkswagen Tharu in China, while the Taos was released in October 2020 as a restyled version of the Tharu for the North American, South American, and Russian markets. In the brand's lineup, the vehicle is positioned below the Tiguan, and in South America and China above the T-Cross. It is not marketed in core European market.
