Oromia is a regional state in Ethiopia and the homeland of the Oromo people. The capital city of the State of Oromia is Addis Ababa, also known as Finfinne. Currently the state consists of 21 administrative zones.

Didessa is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It is named after the Didessa River, a tributary of the Abay River. Part of the Illubabor Zone, Didessa is bordered on the south by the Didessa River which separates it from the Jimma Zone, and on the north by Gechi. The major town in Didessa is Denbi.
Gindabarat is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. The district is marginal within the central-highlands of Ethiopia, being isolated geographically by lowland gorges and rivers which separate it from all but one neighboring district, and physically, due to a poor road network. Part of the West Shewa Zone, Gindabarat is bordered on the south by Jeldu, on the southwest by Ambo, on the west by the Guder River which separates it from the Horo Guduru Welega Zone, on the north by the Abay River which separates it from the Amhara Region, on the east by the Muger River which separates it from the North Shewa Zone, and on the southeast by Meta Robi. The major town in Gindabarat is Kachise. Abuna Gindabarat woreda was separated from Gindabarat.
Walmara is one of the districts in the Oromia of Ethiopia. Part of the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne, it is bordered on the south by the Sebeta Hawas, on the west by West Shewa Zone, on the north by Mulo, on the northeast by the Sululta, and on the east by the city of Addis Ababa. Towns in Walmara include and Menagesha Kolobo. Town of Holeta was separated from Walmara.
Sebata Hawas (Oromo: Saabataa Haawaass; is one of the districts in the Oromia of Ethiopia. Part of the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne, Alem Gena is on the southwest by Southwest Shewa Zone, on the northwest by Walmara, on the north by Burayu, on the northeast by the city of Addis Ababa, and on the east by the Akaki. The Awash River defines this woreda's boundary with south west Shewa Zone. The towns in Sebeta Hawas include Alem Gena, Awash Melka, and Tefki. The town of Sebeta was separated from this district.
Yaya Gulele is one of the districts(Aanaalee) in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of former Yaya Gulelena Tulluu Liban which was separated from Debre Libanos and Yaya Gulele district. Part of the North Shewa Zone, Yaya Gulele is bordered on the south by Mulona Sululta, on the southwest by the Muger River which separates it from the West Shewa Zone, on the west by Degem, on the north by Gerar Jarso, on the north east by the Debre Libanos, and on the east by Wuchale. Towns in Yaya Gulele include Fital.
Limmu Kosa is one of the Districts in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It is named in part after the former kingdom of Limmu-Ennarea, whose territories included the area this woreda now covers. Part of the Jimma Zone, Limmu Kosa is bordered on the south by Kersa, on the southwest by Mana, on the west by Gomma, on the northwest by the Didessa River which separates it from the Illubabor Zone, on the north by Limmu Sakka, on the northeast by the Gibe River which separates it from the west shewa zone and the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the east by Sokoru, and on the southeast by Tiro Afeta. The administrative center of this woreda is Limmu Inariya(Town); other towns include Ambuye and Babu. Chora Botor woreda was separated from Limmu Kosa.
Gursum is one of the Districts in the Oromia of Ethiopia. Part of the East Hararghe Zone, Gursum is bordered on the south by Babille, on the west by the Harari Region, on the north by Jarso, and on the east by the Somali Region. The administrative center of the woreda is Funyan Bira.
Agarfa is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia, named for its administrative center, Agarfa. Located in the northwestern corner of the Bale Zone, Agarfa is bordered on the south by Sinanana Dinsho, on the west by Mirab Arsi Zone, on the north by the Shabelle River which separates it from the Arsi Zone, and on the east by Gaserana Gololcha. Other towns in Agarfa include Ali.
Shambu is a town and separate woreda in western Ethiopia. Located in the Horo Guduru Welega Zone of the Oromia Region west of Lake Fincha'a, this town has an elevation of 2,503 metres above sea level. It was the administrative centre of Horro district.
Bedele is a town and separate woreda in south-western Ethiopia. Located in the Buno Bedele Zone of the Oromia Region, this town has a longitude and latitude of 8°27′N36°21′E and an elevation between 2,012–2,162 metres (6,601–7,093 ft) above sea level.
Kellem Wollega is one of the zones of the Oromia Region in Ethiopia. This zone is named after the former province of Wollega, whose western part lay in the area Kellem Wollega now occupies. Kellem Wollega was formed of woredas which included to West Wollega Zone.
Chewaka is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of Bedele. It is part of the Illubabor Zone.
