Jido is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It was part of former Wuchalena Jido woreda. Part of the Kaba Shewa Zone, Jido is bordered on the north west by Wuchale, on the north by Amhara Region, on the north east by Abichu, on the east by Kembibit and on the south by Bereh and Aleltu.
The 2007 national census reported a total population for this woreda of 53,658, of whom 26,889 were men and 26,769 were women; none of its population were urban dwellers. The majority of the inhabitants said they practised Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity, with 97.58% of the population reporting they practised that belief, and 1.6% were Muslim. [1]
Darimu is one of the 180 woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. This woreda takes its name from the name of the region it lies in, "Darimu", which is mentioned in Alexander Bulatovich's book, From Entotto to the River Baro, published in 1897. Part of the Illubabor Zone, Darimu is bordered on the south by Metu, on the west and north by the Kelem Welega Zone, and on the east by Supena Sodo. The major town in Darimu is Dipa.
Gechi is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Illubabor Zone, Gechi is bordered on the south by Didessa, on the east by the Jimma Zone, on the north by Bedele, and on the east by the Didessa River which separates it from the Jimma Zone. Gechi is the major town in Gechi. Borecha woreda was part of Gechi.
Yayu is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Illubabor Zone, Yayu is bordered on the south by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west by Metu, on the north by Supena Sodo, on the east by Chora, and on the southeast by the Jimma Zone. Towns in Yayu include Elemo and Yayu. Doreni and Hurumu woredas were part of Yayu woreda.
Amaya is one of the Aanaas in the Oromia of Ethiopia. Part of the Southwest Shewa Zone, Amaya is bordered on the south by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the west and north by West Shewa Zone, on the northeast by Wonchi, and on the east by Walisona Goro. The major town in Amaya is Gindo.
Bereh is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It was part of former Berehna Aleltu woreda which was separated for Aleltu and Bereh woredas and Sendafa Town. Part of the Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne, Bereh is bordered on the south by the Akaki and East Shewa Zone, on the southwest by the city of Addis Ababa, on the west by Sululta, on the north by North Shewa Zone, and on the east by the Amhara Region.
Doba is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It is named after its major town Doba. Part of the West Haraghe, Doba is bordered on the south by Chiro, on the west by Mieso, on the north by the Somali Region, on the east by the East Hararghe, and on the southeast by Tulo.
Wuchale is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It was part of former woreda of Wuchalena Jido which was separated for Jido and Wuchale woredas.. Dera is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Part of the Kaba Shewa Zone, Dera is bordered on the south by the Jamma River which separates it from Hidabu Abote and Wara Jarso, on the west, north and east by the Amhara Region; the Abay River defines the western boundary, and its tributary the Walaqa River the northern. The administrative center of Dera is Gundo Meskel.
Yaya Gulele is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It was part of former Yaya Gulelena Tulluu Liban which was separated from Liban woreda and Yaya Gulele district. Part of the North Shewa Zone, Yaya Gulele is bordered on the south by Mulona Sululta, on the southwest by the Muger River which separates it from the West Shewa Zone, on the west by Degem, on the north by Gerar Jarso, on the north east by Liban woreda, and on the east by Wuchale. Towns in Yaya Gulele include Fital.
Kembibit is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Part of the Kaba Shewa Zone, Kembibit is bordered on the south by Berehna Aleltu, on the west by Wuchalena Jido, on the north by Abichuna Gne'a, and on the east by the Amhara Region. The administrative center of this woreda is Sheno; other towns in Kembibit include Hamus Gebeya and Kotu.
Abichuna Gne'a is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. This woreda is named in part for the Abichu Oromo. Part of the Kaba Shewa Zone, Abichu woreda is bordered on the south by Kembibit, on the west by Wuchalena Jido, and on the north and east by the Amhara Region. The major town in Abichu is Mendida.
Gera is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It is named after the former Kingdom of Gera, whose territory was approximately the same as the modern woreda. Part of the Jimma Zone, Gera is bordered on the south by the Gojeb River which separates it from the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the northwest by Sigmo, on the north by Setema, on the northeast by Gomma, and on the east by Seka Chekorsa. The administrative center of this woreda is Chira; other towns in Gera include Cheriko and Dusta.
Dugda is a district in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of the former district of Dugda Bora before being divided into Bora and Dugda. Part of the East Shewa Zone located in the Great Rift Valley, Dugda is bordered on the southeast by Hora-Dambal, on the south by Adami Tullu and Jido Kombolcha, on the west by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the northwest by the Southwest Shewa Zone, on the north by the Awash River which separates it from Ada'a Chukala, on the northeast by Koka Reservoir which separates it from Adama, and on the east by the Arsi Zone. The administrative center of Dugda is Meki.
Adami Tullu and Jido Kombolcha is one of the districts in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. Part of the East Shewa Zone located in the Great Rift Valley, Adami Tullu and Jido Kombolcha is bordered on the south by West Arsi Zone with which it shares the shores of Lakes Abijatta and Langano, on the west by the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region, on the north by Dugda Bora, on the northeast by Hora-Dambal, and on the east by the Arsi Zone. The main town of district is Adami Tullu; other towns include Abosa, Bulbulla, and Jido.
Tena is a woreda in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Diksis woreda was separated form Tena woreda. Part of the Arsi Zone, Tena is bordered on the south by Sherka, on the southwest by Bekoji, on the west by Digeluna Tijo, on the northwest by Hitosa, on the north by Dodotana Sire, on the northeast by Sude, and on the east by Robe. The administrative center of the woreda is Ticho; other towns in Tena include Kela.

Aleltu is one of the Aanaas in the Oromia of Ethiopia. It was part of former Bereh Aanaa. It is part of the North Shewa Zone. Towns located in this woreda include Tale, Digare, Sant'e and Galata. The closest major cities include Addis Ababa, Adama and Bishoftu.
Mulo is a woreda of Oromia Special Zone Surrounding Finfinne in Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It was part of the former Mulona Sululta woreda.
Chora Botor is one of the woredas in the Oromia Region of Ethiopia. It was part of Limmu Kosa woreda. It is part of the Jimma Zone.
