[2] It serves all the communities within Cache County, except most of the city of Logan (which is served by Logan City School District). Cache Valley(Shoshoni: Seuhubeogoi, “Willow Valley”) is a valley of northern Utah and southeast Idaho, United States, that includes the Logan metropolitan area. The valley was used by 19th century mountain men and was the site of the 1863 Bear River Massacre. The name, Cache Valley is often used synonymously to describe the Logan Metropolitan Area, one of the fastest growing metro areas in the US per capita — both in terms of economic GDP and population.

Mountain Crest High School (MCHS) is a four-year public high school in Hyrum, Utah. Established in 1983 as part of the Cache County School District, its campus is in the southeast part of Hyrum, a city in the Southern part of Cache County. Mountain Crest High is currently in the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) class 4A Region 11 and its mascot is a mustang. The school was split for the 2016-2017 school year after the completion of Ridgeline High School; new boundaries were drawn and a portion of the student body and faculty were assigned to the new school. Students residing in the cities and towns of Hyrum, Wellsville, Mendon, Petersboro, Paradise, Avon, and Mount Sterling are within its geographical jurisdiction.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sky View High School</span> High school

Sky View High School (SVHS), is located in Smithfield, Utah. Sky View is the northernmost public high school in the state. As part of the Cache County School District, it serves approximately 1,300 students in grades 9 through 12. In addition to serving the students of Smithfield, it also serves students in the neighboring cities of Richmond, Cove, and Lewiston. Sky View is one of five high schools in Cache Valley.

The Logan Metropolitan Statistical Area, as defined by the United States Census Bureau, is an area consisting of two counties – one in Utah and one in Idaho, anchored by the city of Logan. As of the 2010 census, the MSA had a population of 125,442. As of the 2020 Census, the population had risen to 147,908, and further expanded to an estimated 155,362 as of 2022. The Logan metropolitan area is colloquially called Cache Valley, where most of the population resides.

State Route 252 (SR-252) is a state highway that runs more than six miles in Cache County in the northern Utah city of Logan. The route goes from its southern terminus of US-89/US-91 and heads on a northerly path through the west side of Logan. The route's northern terminus is at US-91.

State Route 101 (SR-101) is a 21.811-mile (35.101 km) long state highway located in the U.S. state of Utah. The route serves as a spur route into the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest through the cities of Wellsville and Hyrum, with an intermediate intersection with U.S. Route 89 (US-89) and US-91. SR-101 starts at an intersection of Main Street and SR-23 in Wellsville. Heading generally eastward, the highway terminates at the Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area. SR-101 was first designated in 1931 as a loop off SR-1 from Logan, south to Hyrum, and west to Wellsville.
