The communauté de communes Sauldre et Sologne was created on December 29, 2005 and is located in the Cher département of the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. In January 2021 Nançay left the communauté de communes Vierzon-Sologne-Berry and joined Sauldre et Sologne. Its area is 970.8 km2, and its population was 14,597 in 2018.

The communauté de communes des Vallées vertes du Cher Ouest was located in the Cher département of the Centre-Val de Loire region of France. It was created in January 1994. It was merged into the new Communauté de communes Vierzon-Sologne-Berry in January 2013.

It was created in January 2020 by the merger of the former communautés de communes Vierzon-Sologne-Berry and les Villages de la Forêt. Communauté d'agglomération de Blois Agglopolys is an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Blois. It is located in the Loir-et-Cher department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, central France. It was created in January 2012. Its seat is in Blois. Its population was 105,635 in 2017, of which 46,086 in Blois proper.

Communauté d'agglomération Territoires Vendômois is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the town of Vendôme. It is located in the Loir-et-Cher department, in the Centre-Val de Loire region, central France. Created in 2017, its seat is in Vendôme. Its area is 1,039.6 km2. Its population was 52,836 in 2019, of which 15,856 in Vendôme proper.
