Craft Smoothie is a smoothie box delivery service that delivers pre-portioned smoothie ingredients and recipes weekly to subscribers in New Zealand. [1]
Craft Smoothie was started by former New Zealand Rugby player, Riki Hoeata, following a concussion injury which cut short his rugby playing career. [2] The first smoothie boxes were delivered in 2016 and in October 2017, Craft Smoothie was named a finalist in The David Awards in the categories of Most Outstanding Fledgling Business and Most Outstanding Triumph Over Adversity [3] and was the winner of the Solo Meo Award for 2017. [4]
Each smoothie kit comes with pre-portioned ingredients and instructions to make superfood smoothies at home. The recipes change each week depending on the season and include fresh fruit and vegetables, and organic nuts, seeds and superfoods. [5]
The National Provincial Championship (NPC), known for sponsorship reasons as the Bunnings NPC, is a professional rugby union competition for New Zealand provincial unions consisting of 14 teams, divided equally into two divisions based on the previous years finish. The NPC remains the second highest level of professional rugby union in New Zealand, after Super Rugby. The Otago Rugby Football Union is the official governing body of rugby union for the Otago region of New Zealand. The union is based in the city of Dunedin, and its home ground is Forsyth Barr Stadium. The top representative team competes in the ITM Cup, New Zealand's top provincial competition. The union was to have been liquidated in March 2012. However a deal involving the Dunedin City Council allowed it to keep operating. Otago have won the Ranfurly Shield on seven occasions. Andrew Keith Hore is a former New Zealand rugby union player. He played for the All Blacks between 2002 and 2013. His position was hooker. He notably played for the Hurricanes in Super Rugby, but also represented the Highlanders and the Crusaders. When available, he played for Taranaki in the ITM Cup, now known as the Mitre 10 Cup. Hore retired from international rugby after playing Ireland during the 2013 All Black Northern Hemisphere tour, with a total of 83 test caps to his name. In 2008 Hore received the Kelvin Tremain Trophy for Rugby player of the year. In 2011 Andrew Hore captained the All Blacks against Canada.
Kurt Baker is a New Zealand rugby union player, who currently plays as a fullback or wing for Hawke's Bay in New Zealand's domestic Mitre 10 Cup competition. He is a New Zealand Sevens representative, who has played in 43 World Rugby Sevens Series tournaments and has won two Rugby Sevens World Cup titles and two Gold medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games.
