Danger is the third Korean EP by South Korean duo Super Junior-D&E,a sub-unit of the boy band Super Junior. The album was released on April 15,2019,by SM Entertainment and Label SJ,and distributed by Dreamus. The album consists of seven tracks including the lead single of the same name and two previously released songs from their second Japanese full-length album that were re-recorded into Korean from Japanese.
On April 2,2019,Label SJ released an image teaser and announced that Super Junior-D&E will have a Korean comeback on April 15,following their previous release last August with 'Bout You . [3] Unlike their previous their usual colorful teaser photos,this time the label shows the members in a black-and-white photo,exuding a mysterious aura. [4] In the same post,the label outlined the comeback schedule leading up to the album's offline release on April 15. [4] During Donghae's teaser photo release on April 3,the label announced that the EP will come in two versions —"Red",and "Black",and two songs from their second full-length Japanese album, Style are going to be included in this release in their re-recorded Korean version due to their positive reception during their initial release. [5] On April 4,teaser photos of Eunhyuk was released. [6] On April 10,the highlight medley of the EP was uploaded on YouTube. [2] [7]
Before the album's release,the duo held their first solo concert in Olympic Hall,Seoul from April 13–14,marking their domestic concerts in South Korea. [8]
On April 14,the music video for the lead single,"Danger" was released alongside the digital EP,followed by the physical copy of the EP the following day. [9]
The EP consists of seven tracks consisting of various genres ranging from trap,hip hop,nu-disco,and R&B. [1] [2] The band stated that they wanted to show their masculine side and be real men. [9] Speaking of the album's black and red colors,Eunhyuk states that the former symbolizes charisma,while the latter is "sexiness." [9] Donghae recounted the inspiration to write the EP came from horse racing,and invites the fans to run alongside them without looking sideways. [9]
The opening track,"Danger" is an electro house song with trap influences to bring out the charismatic personalities of the members. [9] [10] Penned by Donghae and J-DUB,the song featured dark sounds with minor chord progression with its lyrics playfully likening the expression of "ding" as "danger." [11] "Jungle" is a trap song with strong synthesizer sound,reminiscent to a jungle. The lyrics were written as a first-person who sees everything. [11]
"Gloomy" is an R&B song with an 808 bass sound and a somber electric guitar melody to amplify the song's emotions. Its melancholic lyrics were penned by Donghae. [2] [11] The music video for the track was released on April 12,two days before their Seoul concert,and it was directed by their bandmate Shindong. [12] "Watch Out" is a pop song with a groovy rhythm with its lyrics warning the listeners during one that fell in love with someone dangerous. [11] "Dreamer" is a pop ballad song with mellow melody and a dynamic burst of sound in its chorus. The lyrics sympthasizes with someone suffering from anxiety. [2] The track was written by Tha Aristocrats,the production team behind labelmate Exo's "Overdose." [11]
The EP concludes with the Korean versions of "Sunrise" and "If You",the tracks that were previously released in Japanese.
The duo embarked on their second Asia tour, "The D&E", to promote the EP from April 13–August 28, visiting five countries, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan. Its Seoul stops were held two days before the release of the EP, in which the duo performed several tracks of the EP — "Danger", "Watch Out", "Gloomy", and "Jungle", for the first time. [13]
They performed "Watch Out" and "Danger" on Music Bank on April 19, followed by a return performance a week later on April 26 for the latter track. [14] [15] The duo performed "Gloomy" on MBC's Music Core on April 20. [16]

Super Junior , also known as SJ or SuJu, is a South Korean boy band. The group is composed of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin were originally part of the group before departing in 2011, 2015 and 2019, respectively. The group was formed by the founder of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo-man in 2005 as a 12-piece group with rotational members but the concept was abandoned after addition of Kyuhyun in 2006. They are also dubbed by the media as the "King of Hallyu Wave" due to their contributions in Korean Wave.
Lee Hyuk-jae, better known by his stage name Eunhyuk, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, and television host. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-T and Super Junior-H. In 2011, he joined Super Junior's Mandopop subgroup Super Junior-M and the duo Super Junior-D&E, active in China and Japan respectively.
Lee Dong-hae, referred to as Donghae, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, composer, and actor. He became a trainee under SM Entertainment after winning a prize at SM's Youth Best Contest in 2001. After four years of training, Donghae debuted as a member of boy group Super Junior in November 2005. In July 2023, Lee left SM Entertainment, although he remains as a member of Super Junior. Two months later, Lee along with Eunhyuk founded new label ODE.ent to managed his solo activities as well as D&E's activities and he also charges as a Co-CEO of the label.
Super Junior-M, is the third sub-unit of the South Korean boy band Super Junior focusing on Chinese market, currently composed of six Super Junior members Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun and special member Zhou Mi. The sub-unit is known as the first international music group in the Chinese music industry to have members of both Chinese and Korean descent. Play is the eighth Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on November 6, 2017, by SM Entertainment. The album features seven members, marking the return of Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon after their mandatory military service. Ahead of the official release, SM Entertainment released the single "One More Chance" on October 30, 2017. The album features the vocals of only seven Super Junior members. Only six members promoted the album formally: Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Donghae, Shindong, and Eunhyuk. Vocals belonging to Kyuhyun and Siwon can also be heard on the album. The album's repackage, Replay, was released on April 12, 2018. According to the music data provider Gaon, the album sold over 200,000 copies on its first week of release.
"Lo Siento" is a trilingual song that was recorded by South Korean boy band Super Junior. The song features Dominican-American singer Leslie Grace and producers Play-N-Skillz; it was released on Replay (2018), a repackaged version of the band's eighth studio album Play (2017). SM Entertainment, Label SJ and iriver released the track as the album's lead single on April 12, 2018. Daniel "Obi" Klein, Charli Taft, Andreas Oberg, and Juan "Play" and Oscar "Skillz" Salinas composed the song, and its lyrics were written in Korean, Spanish and English by Kenzie, Mario Caceres, Yasmil Marrufo, Grace, as well as Super Junior members Heechul and Eunhyuk. The song describes love at first sight; it marks the band's first collaboration with foreign artists and their first venture into Latin pop.
'Bout You is the second Korean extended play (EP) of South Korean duo Super Junior-D&E, a sub-unit of the boy band Super Junior. The album was released on August 16, 2018, by SM Entertainment and Label SJ. This is their second Korean comeback since The Beat Goes On in 2015.
One More Time is the first extended play by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on October 8, 2018, by SM Entertainment. The album is the group's first full Latin pop album, and marks the return of Ryeowook after his mandatory military service. Ahead of the official release, SM Entertainment released the single "Animals". Only seven members participated in the comeback; Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon and Ryeowook. Heechul declined due to physical health issues, though he still participated in the album's recording. The D&E is the second Asia tour held by Super Junior's subunit Super Junior-D&E to promote their third Korean extended play album Danger, which was released two days after the start of this tour. The concerts in Seoul were the subunit's first domestic concerts in Korea.
Time Slip is the ninth Korean-language studio album by South Korean boy band Super Junior, released on October 14, 2019, by SM Entertainment. The album features nine members, namely Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and also marks the return of Kyuhyun after his mandatory military service. On January 7, 2020 it was announced that the album would be re-released as a repackaged album, Timeless on January 28, 2020.

"I Think I" is a single by South Korean boy band Super Junior released on October 4, 2019, by SM Entertainment and Label SJ. The single was featured in Super Junior's ninth Korean-language studio album, Time Slip as the fourth pre-release single. The song was then re-released in Japanese on October 30, 2019, as the lead single for their first Japanese EP, I Think U.
