Wayne County is the most populous county in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of 2020, the United States Census placed its population at 1,793,561, making it the 19th-most populous county in the United States. The county seat is Detroit. The county was founded in 1796 and organized in 1815. Wayne County is included in the Detroit-Warren-Dearborn, MI Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is one of several U.S. counties named after Revolutionary War-era general Anthony Wayne.

Wayne is an unincorporated community centered in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States, on the Main Line, a series of highly affluent Philadelphia suburbs located along the railroad tracks of the Pennsylvania Railroad and one of the wealthiest areas in the nation. While the center of Wayne is in Radnor Township, Wayne extends into both Tredyffrin Township in Chester County and Upper Merion Township in Montgomery County. The center of Wayne was designated the Downtown Wayne Historic District in 2012. Considering the large area served by the Wayne post office, the community may extend slightly into Easttown Township, Chester County, as well.

The Jacobsburg National Historic District is almost entirely surrounded by the park. Jacobsburg Environmental Education Center is just off the Belfast exit of Pennsylvania Route 33.
Front Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is a north–south street running parallel to and near the Delaware River. In 1682, when the city was laid out by William Penn, it was the first street surveyed and built in during the colonial era Province of Pennsylvania. As part of the King's Highway, which extended from Boston to Charleston, South Carolina, and as the waterfront of Philadelphia's port, it was the most important street in the city from its founding into the 19th century.

(1915), Columbia Theater (1918-1919), Jefferson County Courthouse (1867), Brookville Borough Building, and U.S. Post Office. Located in the district and separately listed are the Brookville Presbyterian Church and Manse, Joseph E. Hall House, and Gray-Taylor House.
Centerville Historic District is a historic district in Centerville, Pennsylvania. Centerville represents an intact example of the "pike town" typical of the National Road in Pennsylvania. Little commercial activity remains in the town today, but the ninety-four contributing buildings in the district includes taverns, residences, shops, and services buildings typical of the rise and decline of the National Road.
Downtown Altoona Historic District is a national historic district located at Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 240 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Altoona. The buildings were primarily built after about 1860 and include residential, civic, social, and religious buildings. Although it does not encompass the entire downtown, it is for the most part the most urban part of Altoona's downtown district. Notable buildings include the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament (1920s), First Methodist Episcopal Church, First Presbyterian Church, First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1896-1897), U.S. Post Office (1931-1933), Fraternal Order of Eagles Building (demolished), Altoona City Hall, Casanave Building (1890s), Hutchison Block, McCrory's Department Store (1937), and Aaron-Penn Furniture Building. Located in the district are the separately listed Central Trust Company Buildings, Mishler Theatre, and Penn Alto Hotel.

The district includes 86 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Indiana. The district includes notable examples of buildings in the Italianate, Second Empire, and Queen Anne styles. Notable buildings include the Federal-style William Houston House, Clawson Hotel, Thomas Sutton House, Calvary Presbyterian Church, Zion Lutheran Church, First United Presbyterian Church, and First Methodist Episcopal Church. The contributing site is Memorial Park, established as a burial ground in the early 19th century. Located in the district and listed separately are the Silas M. Clark House, James Mitchell House, Old Indiana County Courthouse, Indiana Borough 1912 Municipal Building, Indiana Armory, and Old Indiana County Jail and Sheriff's Office.
