Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education

The Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education was a South African university located in Potchefstroom. Instruction was mainly in Afrikaans. In 2004, the university was merged with other institutions to create the North-West University.

Philip Eloff is an American former rugby union centre. Eloff played for the United States national rugby union team from 2000 to 2007, earning 35 caps. He scored 10 tries in his U.S. international career, ranking him second on the list of all-time U.S. try scorers at the time of his retirement. His scoring includes a two-try performance in a win against Spain in a qualifying match for the 2003 Rugby World Cup and three tries against Barbados in a 2006 match.

Fanie Eloff, (1885-1947) Stephanus Johannes Paulus Eloff was born as the sixth child and second son of Frederik Christoffel Eloff and Elsie Francina Eloff. They lived right next to his grandfather, President Paul Kruger of the Zuid Afrikaanse Republiek on church street in Pretoria.

OK Bazaars

OK Bazaars is one of the oldest retail shops in South Africa, established in 1927 by partners Michael Miller and Sam Cohen still in existence today. The first shop opened in corner President and Eloff streets in Johannesburg and over the years the brand grew to have more than 100 shops around South Africa.
