The cabinet of Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo consisted of the executive chamber and the heads of the various departments of the Government of New York. Cuomo took office on January 1, 2011, as the 56th governor of New York.

Lieutenant Governor

Andrew Cuomo's Lieutenant Governor was Kathy Hochul, former United States Representative from New York's 26th district. Hochul replaced the previous Lieutenant Governor, Robert Duffy, the former Mayor of Rochester.

The lieutenant governor of New York is a constitutional office in the executive branch of the Government of the State of New York. It is the second highest-ranking official in state government. The lieutenant governor is elected on a ticket with the governor for a four-year term. Official duties dictated to the lieutenant governor under the present New York Constitution are to serve as president of the state senate, serve as acting governor in the absence of the governor from the state or the disability of the governor, or to become governor in the event of the governor's death, resignation or removal from office via impeachment. Timothy Shiou-Ming Wu is an official in the Biden White House with responsibility for Technology and Competition policy. Also a legal scholar and professor of law at Columbia University, he is the author of several books, and was previously a contributing opinion writer for The New York Times. He is known legally and academically for significant contributions to antitrust and communications policy, and popularly, for coining the phrase "network neutrality" in his 2003 law journal article, Network Neutrality, Broadband Discrimination. In the late 2010s, Wu was a leading advocate for an antitrust lawsuit directed at the breakup of Facebook.

Leecia Roberta Eve is an attorney from New York with experience in federal government, state government, and the private sector who currently works as a lobbyist for telecommunications giant Verizon. Born in Buffalo, Eve was a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of New York during the 2006 election. After working for U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, Eve served as a senior advisor during Clinton's 2008 presidential campaign. From 2011 to 2013, she was Deputy Secretary for Economic Development in the Executive Chamber of New York Governor Andrew M. Cuomo. She was appointed to the Board of Commissioners of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in July 2017. Eve ran for Attorney General of New York in 2018, but was defeated in the Democratic primary.

Andrea Stewart-Cousins American politician

Andrea Alice Stewart-Cousins is an American politician and educator from Yonkers, New York. A member of the Democratic Party, Stewart-Cousins has represented District 35 in the New York State Senate since 2007 and has served as Majority Leader and Temporary President of that body since 2019. She has previously served twice as acting lieutenant governor of New York under Governor Kathy Hochul, for 16 days in 2021 and between April and May 2022. Stewart-Cousins is the first Black woman to serve as the New York lieutenant governor. She is the first woman in the history of New York State to lead a conference in the New York State Legislature and is also the first female Senate Majority Leader in New York history.

The cabinet of Governor of New York David Paterson consists of the executive chamber, and the heads of the various departments of the Government of New York. On Paterson's first day as governor, he asked for letters of resignation from all of the top staff members and state agency commissioners appointed by previous Governor Eliot Spitzer. This typical action does not mean the holdovers from the Spitzer administration will be replaced, and Paterson said that "having the letters gives him the flexibility to make changes if he decides to".

This has never been the official title of any office, but has often been informally used to refer to various officials since the 1970s.

Kathleen Courtney Hochul is an American lawyer and politician serving as the 57th governor of New York since August 24, 2021. A member of the Democratic Party, she is New York's first female governor, as well as the first governor from upstate New York since the 1930s.

In this role, Kauffman is New York State's most senior energy official, responsible for all aspects of energy policy and agency operation, and leads the state's "Reforming the Energy Vision" initiative.

Catalina Cruz is a Colombian-American attorney from the borough of Queens in New York City. A member of the Democratic Party and former undocumented immigrant (DREAMer), Cruz has worked as an advocate for immigration rights, including as Director of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo's 2016 Exploited Task Force. Cruz was elected as the Democratic candidate in the Fall 2018 election for the 39th district of the New York State Assembly, representing Corona, Elmhurst, and Jackson Heights, Queens.

The Office of Cannabis Management is a state agency established upon passage of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) to implement a regulatory framework for medical and adult-use cannabis in the state of New York, along with hemp regulations as well. It was announced by Governor Andrew Cuomo in the January 2019 State of the State address. The office is charged with the regulation and taxation of the cannabis industry in the State of New York, following the legalization of recreational cannabis which was signed into law by Governor Cuomo on March 31, 2021. Tax revenue taken in by the agency was estimated by the Governor to start at $83 million in 2021 and rise to $300 million at full implementation in 2023.
