Ignacio de la Llave y Segura Zevallos was a general and the governor of the Mexican state of Veracruz (1861–1862).
Alvarado is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. The city also serves as the municipal seat for the surrounding municipality of the same name. It is located 64 km (40 mi) from the city of Veracruz, Veracruz, on Federal Highways 180 and 125. Alvarado is bordered by Boca del Río, Tlalixcoyan, Medellín, Ignacio de la Llave, Ciudad Lerdo de Tejada, Tlacotalpan and Acula. It is 10 m (33 ft) above sea level. It lies in the so-called "Region Papaloapan" bordered on the south by the municipalities of Acula, Tlacotalpan and Lerdo de Tejada, on the east by the Gulf of Mexico and on the west by Ignacio de la Llave.

Galeana is both a municipality and a city in the Mexican state of Nuevo León. It is named after Hermenegildo Galeana, a lieutenant involved in the country's movement towards independence. Galeana shares borders with the states of Coahuila, San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas to the west; with the municipalities of Aramberri and Doctor Arroyo to the south; Rayones to the north; and with Linares, Montemorelos, Rayones and Iturbide to the east. Galeana is the largest municipality in the state, totaling 7,154.6 km², however it's scarcely populated with only 38,930 inhabitants resulting in a population density of 0.18 persons per square kilometer. Galeana, the municipal seat, is the best developed town in the region. It has services such as hospitals, accommodations, restaurants, bars and the largest drink distributor in the zone. However it remains as a low per-capita income city.

Its production and musical structure of album is based on merengue, bachata and salsa and encompasses elements of Blues, Son, Jazz, Mambo and Bossa Nova. The album was written, arranged and produced by Juan Luis Guerra and according to the artist is his most romantic album. It is composed of four merengues, two bachatas, three romantic songs and two salsas.
Copándaro is a municipality located in the Mexican state of Michoacán. The municipality has an area of 173.52 square kilometres and is bordered to the north by Huandacareo and Cuitzeo, to the east and south by Tarímbaro, and to the west by Chucándiro. The municipality had a population of 8,131 inhabitants according to the 2005 census. Its municipal seat is the city of Copándaro de Galeana.

Armando Manuel Aurelio Ortega Carrillo, known as Maestro Armando Ortega, was a Mexican musician, the Director of Coro de la Escuela Secundaria y de Bachilleres de Orizaba (ESBO). His maternal great-grandfather was the philanthropist Don Manuel Carrillo Tablas, who served many times as mayor of Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. His maternal grandfather was also a member of the Mexican Legislature at the turn of the 20th century. His paternal grandfather was the illustrious Professor Don Aurelio Ortega y Placeres, considered one of the most brilliant educators of public instruction the state of Veracuz, Mexico produced. His father was the renowned poet and educator, Professor Don Aurelio Ortega Castañeda, who baptized the city of Orizaba with the title of "Nuestra Señora de los Puentes"("Our Lady of the bridges").
The current municipality of Ignacio de la Llave, previously known as San Cristobal de la Llave, is placed in the popularly known region of La Mixtequilla, which is located in the western limit of the Papaloapan river, going through the Blanco, Limón and Las Pozas rivers. The climate of the region varie between hot-humid and tropical-humid, with frequent summer rains between July and September. The average temperature is from 64 and 72 °F, with a maximum registered in the high 70s °F (24-26°C) and the lowest in the high 40 °F (7-9°C). Ignacio de la Llave is neighbor and has deep political, social and trading relationships with: Alvarado, Acula, Ixmatlahuacan, Tlalixcoyan and Tierra Blanca.
