Gillett Grove is a city in Clay County, Iowa, United States. The population was 30 in the 2020 census, a decline from 55 in 2000. [2]
Gillett Grove was laid out in 1899 when the railroad was extended to that point. [3] The city was named for brothers George and Isaiah Gillett, pioneer settlers. [3]

Gillett Grove is within the Spencer Community School District. [10] It was previously in the South Clay Community School District; [11] on July 1, 2010 that district dissolved, with a portion going to the Spencer district. [12]
