Gnosall is a civil parish [2] in the Borough of Stafford in the county of Staffordshire, England. [3] It takes its name from the village of the same name. [4] The parish is close to the Telford and Wrekin borough of Shropshire. The parish had a population of 5,100 at the 2021 UK Census. [5]

Geography

The parish lies within the historic Hundred of Cuttlestone. It lies close to the county boundaries of Shropshire and Staffordshire. It is located middway between the towns of Eccleshall, Newport, Shifnal and Stafford. The parish also formed part of the former Gnosall Rural District.
