Greek Music Television or GMtv is a 24-hour lifestyle channel that broadcasts exclusively for Greek viewers in North America. It launched in October 2007 exclusively on DirecTV under the direction of Petros Hatjopoulos. GMtv is aimed at the Greek youth of America with a diverse programming mix ranging from music video clips, movie news, fashion tips and pop culture reports. Music content includes exclusive interviews with Greece's top artists, concerts, behind the scenes footage and other special programming. On March 31, 2011, GMtv was removed from DirecTV along with all other Greek services. GMtv became available on the Home2US platform in May 2011.
The Nashville Network, usually referred to as TNN, was an American country music-oriented cable television network. Programming included music videos, taped concerts, movies, game shows, syndicated programs, and numerous talk shows. On September 25, 2000, after an attempt to attract younger viewers failed, TNN's country music format was changed and the network was renamed The National Network, eventually becoming Spike TV in 2003 and Paramount Network in 2018.
Alter Channel, better known as Alter, was a private TV channel in Greece. It launched in 1990 and was owned by Eleftheri Tileorasi S.A. and was headed by Andreas Kouris. Programming mainly consisted of news, current affairs shows and entertainment programs. Alter featured popular news anchor Nikos Hadjinikolaou, morning show host Giorgos Aftias & controversial but popular investigative reporter Makis Triantafyllopoulos. Alter also aired the award-winning program Light In The Tunnel, a program that tracked down missing individuals. It also featured a strong lineup of children's programming that aired daily. In 2011, Alter faced with severe financial difficulties and in early December 2011, it stopped broadcasting due to financial difficulties.

It became a wholly owned subsidiary of ITV plc in November 2009. Shortly after, ITV plc announced the programme would end. The final edition of GMTV was broadcast on 3 September 2010.

RFD-TV is an American pay television channel owned by Rural Media Group, Inc. The channel features programming devoted to rural issues, concerns and interests. The channel's name is a reference to Rural Free Delivery, the name for the United States Postal Service's system of delivering mail directly to rural patrons. Production and uplinking facilities for RFD-TV are located at 49 Music Square West, Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee. RFD-TV's sister radio channel is Rural Radio on Sirius XM. RFD-TV also owns a theater in Branson, Missouri where some variety shows that air on RFD-TV are filmed, as well as the Imus Ranch in Ribera, New Mexico.

n3D was an American 3DTV channel that launched on July 1, 2010. It was sponsored by Panasonic and available exclusively on DirecTV. It was the world's first 24-hour 3DTV channel. Operations ceased June 25, 2012.
Daybreak was a British breakfast television programme which was broadcast on ITV from 6 September 2010 to 25 April 2014. Daybreak replaced GMTV, which aired its last weekday edition on 3 September 2010. Daybreak launched three days later.
