The Guinea-Bissau women's national football team is the representative women's association football team of Guinea-Bissau. Its governing body is the Football Federation of Guinea-Bissau (FFGB) and it competes as a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The national team's first activity was in 2006, when they played a friendly game against Guinea. Guinea-Bissau is currently ranked 169th in the FIFA Women's World Rankings. [1] [2]

The Burkina Faso national football team, represents Burkina Faso in men's international football and is controlled by the Burkinabé Football Federation. They were known as the Upper Volta national football team until 1984, when Upper Volta became Burkina Faso. They finished fourth in the 1998 Africa Cup of Nations, when they hosted the tournament. Their best ever finish in the tournament was the 2013 edition, reaching the final.

The AU represents the interests of African peoples at large in intergovernmental organizations (IGO's); for instance, it is a permanent observer at the United Nations' General Assembly.
Salimata or Salamata Sawadogo Tapsoba is the former chair of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights. She is also a magistrate, and, the Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Senegal, Mauritania, Guinea, Cape Verde and Gambia. She is also a member of the Jurist Women's Association of Burkina Faso.
