The Chile national football team, nicknamed La Roja, represents Chile in men's international football competitions and is controlled by the Federación de Fútbol de Chile which was established in 1895. Chile has appeared in nine World Cup tournaments and were hosts of the 1962 FIFA World Cup where they finished in third place, the highest position the country has ever achieved in the World Cup.
The Peru national football team, nicknamed La Bicolor, represents Peru in men's international football. The national team has been organised, since 1927, by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). The FPF constitutes one of the ten members of FIFA's South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). Peru has won the Copa América twice, and has qualified for the FIFA World Cup five times ; the team also participated in the 1936 Olympic football competition and has reached the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The team plays most of its home matches at the Estadio Nacional in Lima, the country's capital.
The Ecuador national football team, nicknamed La Tricolor, represents Ecuador in men's international football and is controlled by the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF). They joined FIFA in 1926 and CONMEBOL a year later.
The Venezuela national football team, nicknamed La Vinotinto, represents Venezuela in men's international football and is controlled by the Venezuelan Football Federation (FVF), the governing body for football in Venezuela. Their nickname is a reference to the unique “red wine” team color that is used on their home jerseys. When playing at home in official games, they usually rotate between three stadiums: The Polideportivo Cachamay in Puerto Ordaz, the Estadio José Antonio Anzoátegui in Puerto La Cruz and the Estadio Pueblo Nuevo in San Cristóbal. In friendly matches, they tend to rotate between the rest of the stadiums in the country.

Club Alianza Lima, more commonly known as simply Alianza Lima, is a Peruvian professional sports club based in La Victoria District of Lima, Peru. The club was founded under the name of Sport Alianza on 15 February 1901 by working-class youth in the Chacaritas neighborhood of Lima. It is widely known for having one of the most historical and successful football teams in Peru; they have won a total of 25 official league titles of the Peruvian Primera División and are currently the oldest team playing in that competition, since the club was founded in 1901. According to CONMEBOL, it is considered the most popular club in Peru, and the 6th most popular club in South America, with more than 12 million fans as of April 2016.

The Peru First Division, officially known as Liga 1, is the top flight of association football in Peru. It has been referred to as Torneo Descentralizado since 1966, when the first teams residing outside the Lima and Callao provinces were invited to compete in the inaugural league national competition.
The Chile–Peru football rivalry is a long-standing association football rivalry between the national football teams of Peru and Chile and their respective aficionados. Both teams compete in FIFA's South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). Matches between the two nations are keenly contested and their games have a reputation for fierceness in and off the field of play, fueled by political disputes.
The Peru national under-17 football team represents Peru in international under-17 football competitions and is overseen by the Federacion Peruana de Futbol. The qualified for two World Cups, their best result being in 2007, where the Jotitas reached the Quarter-finals. The teams best result in the South American U-17 Championship was a Fourth Place finish in 2007.

The Bolivia women's national football team represents Bolivia in international women's football and is controlled by the Federación Boliviana de Fútbol. Bolivia has never qualified for a World Cup and has been always eliminated in the Group Stage in the Sudamericano Femenino. Also, most of Bolivia's matches are at Sudamericano Femenino or Bolivarian Games.
The Peru women's national football team represents Peru in international women's football and is controlled by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). They have been a part of the CONMEBOL confederation since its formation in 1996. The Peruvian team has yet to qualify for a FIFA Women's World Cup and is currently ranked 76th in the FIFA Rankings.

Peru national under-20 football team represents Peru in international football competitions such as South American Youth Championship. The Peruvian U-20 squad has participated in all South American Youth Championships, but had no luck in qualifying to a World Cup. Their best appearance was in 1967, finishing in 3rd place. The team is currently managed by José del Solar, who is also the manager of the Peru Olympic football team.
Uruguay national under-20 football team represents Uruguay in international football competitions such as FIFA U-20 World Cup and the South American Youth Football Championship. They are the current reigning FIFA U-20 World Champions.
Universidad Técnica de Cajamarca is a Peruvian football club based in the city of Cajamarca, Peru and is the largest in the city. It was founded in 1964 and play in the Peruvian Primera División, also known as the Liga 1, which is the top flight of the Peruvian football league system. They are nicknamed El Gavilán del Norte, The Sparrowhawk of the North. The clubs logo is very similar to another Peruvian club, Universitario de Deportes. The teams home ground is Estadio Héroes de San Ramón which has a capacity of 18,000.
Asociación Deportiva Tarma, commonly referred as ADT, or ADT Tarma, is a Peruvian professional football club, based in the city of Tarma, Junín. The club was founded in 1929 as Alianza Tarma changing their name to ADT in 1960. ADT currently play in Peruvian Primera División, which is the top tier of the Peruvian football league system. The club has a long-standing rivalry with Sport Dos de Mayo whom they play in the Clásico Tarmeño.
Club Deportivo Unión Comercio, simply known as Unión Comercio, is a Peruvian professional football club based in the city of Nueva Cajamarca, San Martín, Peru. The club plays in the Peruvian Segunda División, the second tier of Peruvian football, after being relegated in 2024. Despite being based in Nueva Cajamarca, Unión Comercio plays their home games at Estadio Carlos Vidaurre García in Tarapoto.
Peru Olympic football team represents Peru in international football competitions in multi-sport events such as the Olympic Games and the Pan American Games. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except three overage players. The team is controlled by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF). Peru has participated in two Olympic football tournaments, one Pan American football tournament, and 7 Bolivarian football tournaments under this category.
