Huish Colliery Quarry (grid reference ST695542 ) is a 0.8 hectare geological Site of Special Scientific Interest near the town of Radstock, Bath and North East Somerset, notified in 1985.
This site includes rocks from the Lower Jurassic period many of which were removed by erosion leading to discontinuations in the Lias. The whole of the Sinemurian Stage and virtually all of the Hettangian Stage is absent. Also notable is the fact that the Jamesoni Zone limestones, which occur here, are much thicker and better developed than at any other comparable sites in the Mendip Hills. [1]

The Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) of Bangalore, India, is a governmental organization and the principal planning authority for Bangalore. Several planned missions of the Apollo crewed Moon landing program of the 1960s and 1970s were canceled, for reasons which included changes in technical direction, the Apollo 1 fire, hardware delays, and budget limitations. After the landing by Apollo 12, Apollo 20, which would have been the final crewed mission to the Moon, was canceled to allow Skylab to launch as a "dry workshop". The next two missions, Apollos 18 and 19, were later canceled after the Apollo 13 incident and further budget cuts. Two Skylab missions also ended up being canceled. Two complete Saturn V rockets remained unused and were put on display in the United States.

Hoyasemys is an extinct genus of basal eucryptodiran freshwater turtle from Lower Cretaceous deposits of Cuenca Province, Spain. It is known from the holotype MCCM-LH 84, a nearly complete and articulated skeleton including the skull. It was found in the 1980s from the Las Hoyas site of the Calizas de La Huérguina Formation, near La Cierva township, Spain. It was first named by Adán Pérez-García, Marcelo S. de la Fuente and Francisco Ortega in 2011 and the type species is Hoyasemys jimenezi. The generic name is derived from the word Hoyas meaning "the basin" in Spanish, which refers to the Las Hoyas fossil site it was found in, and emys. The specific name honors Dr. Emiliano Jiménez Fuentes.
