Kwadjokrom is a small town and is the capital of Sene District in the Bono Eat region of Ghana. Kwadjokrom is in the east of Bono East region, and is situated by Lake Volta. [1] Kwadjokrom is connected by road highway to Ejura and Yeji. [2] Kwadjokrom is connected by a ferry to the town of Kete Krachi. [2]
Techiman is a city and is the capital of Techiman Municipal and Bono East Region of Ghana. Techiman is a leading market town in South Ghana. Techiman is one of the two major cities and settlements of Bono East region. Techiman is home to West Africa's largest traditional market. Techiman has a settlement population of 104,212 people in 2013. Techiman is located at a historical crossroads of trade routes and the Tano River, and serves as capital of the Techiman Municipal District.

Tuobodom is a town in the Bono East region of Ghana. Tuobodom is the capital for the Techiman North District created by the then President of Ghana Professor John Evans Atta Mills. The inhabitants of the town are mainly farmers with some percentage being traders and other government workers. Tuobodom is the capital of Techiman North District of the Bono East region with some adjoining towns like Aworowa, Buoyem, Offuman, Tano Boase and their environs. The main crop that the farmers grow are Tomato and green pepper. Tomato and green pepper are grown on a large scale in the town which helps support the livelihood of the residents.
Ejura is a town and the capital of Ejura/Sekyedumase, a district in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. Ejura has settlement population of 70,807 people. Ejura is the largest maize producing district in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. It is in the far north of the region, near the Afram River. Ejura is connected by highways with the towns of Mampong, Yeji and Techiman. Ejura is home to the Digya National Park / Kujani Game Reserve.
Yeji is a town in the centre of Ghana and the capital of the Pru East District of the Bono East Region in Ghana. Yeji is adjacent to Lake Volta. Yeji is connected by highway to Ejura and Kwadjokrom. It had a population of 29,515 at the census of 2010.
Kete Krachi is the capital of the Krachi West District, in the western part of the Oti Region of Ghana, adjacent to Lake Volta. Kete Krachi is connected by a ferry to the town of Kwadjokrom, and by road to Bimbila and Dambai. Kete Krachi is the seventy-second most populous settlement in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 11,788 people.
Ejura Sekyedumase Municipal District is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988 as Ejura Sekyedumase District, which it was created from parts of the former Sekyere District and Offinso District Councils. Later, it has elevated to municipal district assembly status on 28 June 2012. The municipality is located in the northern part of Ashanti Region and has Ejura as its capital town.
Techiman Municipal District is one of the eleven districts in Bono East Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989 when it was known as Techiman District, until the northern part of the district was split off to create Techiman North District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been retained as Techiman District, which it was later elevated to municipal district assembly status and has been renamed as Techiman Municipal District on that same year. The municipality is located in the western part of Bono East Region and has Techiman as its capital town.
Atebubu District is a former district that was located in Brong-Ahafo Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989. However on 12 November 2003, it was split off into two new districts: Atebubu-Amantin District and Pru District. The district assembly was located in the east central part of Brong-Ahafo Region and had Atebubu as its capital town.
Pru District is a former district that was located in Brong-Ahafo Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Atebubu District on 10 March 1989, until the northern part was split off to create Pru District; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Atebubu-Amantin District, which it was elevated to municipal district assembly status on 15 March 2018 to become Atebubu-Amantin Municipal District. However on 15 March 2018, it was split off into two new districts: Pru East District and Pru West District. The district assembly was located in the east central part of Brong-Ahafo Region and had Yeji as its capital town.

Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Kintampo District on 10 March 1989, until the southern part of the district was split off to create Kintampo South District on 12 November 2003 ; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Kintampo North District; which it was later elevated to municipal district assembly status on 1 November 2007 to become Kintampo North Municipal District. The district assembly is located in the northern part of Bono East Region and has Jema as its capital town.

Wenchi is approximately 30 km north of Techiman and about 50 km east of the Ivory Coast border. Wenchi has a population of 39,187 people in 2013.

Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Nkoranza District on 10 March 1989, until the northern part of the district was split off to create Nkoranza North District on 1 November 2007 ; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Nkoranza South District; which it was later elevated to municipal district assembly status on 28 June 2012 to become Nkoranza South Municipal District. The district assembly is located in the southern part of Bono East Region and has Busunya as its capital town.
Kwabena Donkor is Ghanaian politician and a former Minister for Power. He is the current Member of Parliament for the Pru East constituency, in the Bono East Region of Ghana. He resigned from his office as minister due to failure to end load shedding popularity known as Dumsor, having promised to resign if he did not solve this before the end of 2015.

The Bono East region of Ghana is a new region carved out of the Brong Ahafo region. The capital of the new region is Techiman. This creation of this new region was in fulfillment of a promise made by the New Patriotic Party prior to the 2016 Ghana general election. Upon winning the elections, the President, Nana Akuffo Addo created the Ministry of Regional Reorganization to oversee policy formulation and implementation. In all six new regions are to be created from the existing ten regions of Ghana. The other regions are Bono, Western North, Ahafo, Savannah, North East, and Oti regions.

Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Pru District on 18 February 2004, until the western part of the district was split off to create Pru West District on 15 March 2008; thus the remaining part has been renamed as Pru East District. The district assembly is located in the east central part of Bono East Region and has Yeji as its capital town.
