Scottsdale Community College is a public community college in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is on the eastern boundary of the city on 160 acres of land belonging to the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The lease was taken out in 1970 and will expire in 2069. The college is part of the Maricopa County Community College District.

Phoenix New Times is a free digital and print media company based in Phoenix, Arizona. New Times publishes daily online coverage of local news, restaurants, music and arts, as well as longform narrative journalism. A weekly print issue circulates every Thursday. The company has been owned by Voice Media Group since January 2013, when a group of senior executives bought out the founding owners. David Hudnall was named editor-in-chief of Phoenix New Times in January 2020.
KBAQ is a Phoenix metro area FM radio station that plays classical music twenty-four hours per day. It is co-owned by the Maricopa County Community College District and Arizona State University. A member of National Public Radio, its main transmitter was moved from the White Tank Mountains to South Mountain Park in 2006. An additional Translator is located on 89.7 and a live Internet audio stream is available. It is also simulcast on local PBS station KAET on digital channel 8.5, where it broadcasts in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. The main office and studio complex is located in Tempe at the flagship location of Rio Salado College.

Arrowhead Ranch is a populated place situated in the city of Glendale in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It has an estimated elevation of 1,270 feet (390 m) above sea level. Arrowhead Ranch is a former citrus farm. It was purchased for development in 1978 and annexed by Glendale in 1979.

Ida Redbird (1892–1971) was a Maricopa potter from the Gila River Indian Community of the Gila River Indian Reservation in Arizona. She was the first president of the Maricopa Pottery Maker's Association and was widely credited with the revival of ancient Maricopa pottery techniques and forms. Her polished black-on-redware pottery was highly prized with collectors. Texas photographer Ted Sayles shot a series documenting Redbird sculpting her pottery. The series toured museums throughout the Western United States
Dreamland Villa is a retirement community situated in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. It was one of the first retirement communities built in Arizona. Begun as a development in 1959 by Ross Farnsworth, within fifteen years it encompassed 3000 homes. It has an estimated elevation of 1,371 feet (418 m) above sea level.
