Comrades: Almost a Love Story is a 1996 Hong Kong film starring Maggie Cheung, Leon Lai, Eric Tsang, and Kristy Yang. It was directed by Peter Chan. The Chinese title refers to "Tian Mi Mi", a song by Teresa Teng whose songs are featured in the film. It was filmed on location in Hong Kong and New York City. Leon Lai later commented in 1997 that the story of Li Xiao Jun is somewhat a description of his own life.

<i>The Banquet</i> (1991 film) 1991 Hong Kong film

The Banquet, also known as Party of a Wealthy Family, is a 1991 Hong Kong comedy film. It was quickly filmed for a Hong Kong flood relief charity, after the Yangtze River flooded in July of that year, killing over 1,700 people and displacing many more in the eastern and southern regions of mainland China.

Tang Wei is a Chinese actress. She rose to prominence for her appearance in Lust, Caution (2007), for which she received a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award at the 61st British Academy Film Awards. She gained further acclaim for her leading performances in Late Autumn (2010), Finding Mr. Right (2013), The Golden Era (2014), Long Day's Journey into Night (2018), and Decision to Leave (2022).

The StarHub TVB Awards is an awards ceremony held every year to recognise the achievements by Hong Kong television dramas and artists in Singapore. The awards are presented by StarHub, VV Drama, and E City, and are given for TVB productions and performances. The inaugural StarHub TVB Awards were held on 29 January 2010.

Mask Singer is a Chinese reality singing show hosted by Li Hao in which celebrities perform songs for a panel of judges while wearing elaborate masks in order to conceal their identities. It premiered on 18 September 2016 on Jiangsu Television. It is based on the South Korean program King of Mask Singer.
