Kwan Wai Pang, known professionally as Teddy Robin, is a Hong Kong English pop singer-songwriter, actor, and director and producer. He began his music career in mid 1960s when Hong Kong English pop was at its peak. He formed a rock and roll band with his friends called Teddy Robin and the Playboys while Teddy was the vocal and guitarist. The band was the first Chinese-led rock band in Hong Kong. The band became a massive hit in Hong Kong.

<i>Night and Fog</i> (2009 film) 2009 film

Night and Fog is a 2009 Hong Kong film directed by Ann Hui. Based on a real murder-suicide case in Tin Shui Wai in 2004, the film attempts to raise awareness of some issues related to new immigrants in Hong Kong. The film stars Simon Yam as Lee Sum, the abusive husband, and Zhang Jingchu as Wong Hiu-ling, his wife. It is the second and final volume of Ann Hui's Tin Shui Wai series, the first one being The Way We Are.

Vicky Wong Wai-kit is a Hong Kong film director. He co-directed the 2016 film Trivisa produced by Hong Kong film director Johnnie To and screenwriter Yau Nai Hoi. Trivisa has won numerous awards including Best Screenplay, Best Editing, Best Actor, Best Director and Best Picture at the 36th Hong Kong Film Awards, Best film at the Hong Kong Film Critics Society Award. Vicky was also nominated for Best New Director at the 53rd Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards.

Hou Chi-jan is a Taiwanese director and writer. His works are often related to historical memories.

Keung To (姜濤) is a Hong Kong singer, actor, and a member of the Hong Kong boy band group Mirror. He rose to fame after winning ViuTV's reality talent competition Good Night Show - King Maker in 2018. Keung made his solo debut in June 2019 with the single "No. 1 Seed" (一號種籽).

In 2023, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards with his performance in Table for Six.

Mak Pui Tung is a Hong Kong actor best known for his role based on real-life murder suspect Angus Tse in the 2022 legal thriller The Sparring Partner. He won Best Newcomer in the 16th Asian Film Awards and was nominated for Best Actor in the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards and Best Actor in the 29th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Award for his performance.

Chung Suet Ying is a Hong Kong actress and lyricist best known for her role in 2021 black comedy film Time, which earned her nominations for Best New Performer and Best Supporting Actress in the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards. She also appeared in the 2024 drama film The Lyricist Wannabe and received nominations for Best Leading Actress and Best Actress in the 60th Golden Horse Awards and 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards respectively.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Leung Ming Kai</span> Hong Kong cinematographer and director

Leung Ming Kai is a Hong Kong cinematographer and filmmaker. Graduating with a law degree from the University of Hong Kong, Leung proceeded to study filmmaking at Columbia University and debuted as a film cinematographer in Southeast Asia. He returned to Hong Kong and produced the anthology film Memories to Choke On, Drinks to Wash Them Down in 2019, earning Best Screenplay in the 27th Hong Kong Film Critics Society Award. He also filmed the 2021 drama film Drifting and the 2022 drama film The Sunny Side of the Street, which garnered him nominations for Best Cinematography in the 58th and 59th Golden Horse Awards, respectively.

Jack Ng Wai Lun is a Hong Kong film director and screenwriter. Ng started his career as a screenwriter, best known for collaborating with Dante Lam in action thriller films. He received four nominations for Best Screenplay in the 28th, 30th, 33rd, and 36th Hong Kong Film Awards for his contributions to Beast Stalker (2008), The Stool Pigeon (2010), Unbeatable (2013), and Cold War 2 (2016) respectively. In 2023, Ng made his directorial debut with the crime comedy film A Guilty Conscience. The film earned him nominations for Best Director in the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards and Best Directorial Debut in the 36th Golden Rooster Awards, and made him the first and only director to produce a Hong Kong domestic film with over HK$100 million of box office.
