Hu Jinquan, better known as King Hu, was a Chinese film director and actor based in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is best known for directing various wuxia films in the 1960s and 1970s, which brought Hong Kong and Taiwanese cinema to new technical and artistic heights. His films Come Drink with Me (1966), Dragon Inn (1967), and A Touch of Zen (1970–1971) inaugurated a new generation of wuxia films in the late 1960s. Apart from being a film director, Hu was also a screenwriter and set designer.

Dick Liu Kai-chi was a Hong Kong actor, best known for his everyman supporting roles. His career spanned over 40 years, with appearances in over 90 television series and 70 films. He earned eight nominations at the Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Supporting Actor, two of which he won; one for his role in the 1992 comedy Cageman, and the other for the action thriller Beast Stalker in 2009.

Louis Koo Tin-lok is a Hong Kong actor, singer and film producer. He began his professional career as an actor in local television series, winning TVB's Best Actor award in 1999 and 2001. After 2001, he fully focused on film career and became one of the stalwarts of the Hong Kong film industry. In 2018, Koo was awarded the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor, Asian Film Award for Best Actor and the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Award for Best Actor for his performance in the 2017 film Paradox.

Eason Chan is a Hong Kong singer and actor who has starred in multiple box-office hits. Chan started to act in films in 1997. He has since starred or co-starred in more than 40 films. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor by the Golden Horse Film Awards in 2000 for his role in Lavender. In 2005, he was nominated for Best Actor by Golden Bauhinia Awards for his work in Crazy N' The City. In 2008, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in Taiwan's Golden Horse Awards for his work in Trivial Matters.

Chrissie Chau Sau-na is a Hong Kong actress and model. Chau achieved widespread fame after the release of her gravure photo albums in 2009 and 2010. Her film career began after she starred in the horror film Womb Ghosts (2009); Chau has starred in 20 productions in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Malaysia.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Priscilla Wong</span> Hong Kong actress and television host (born 1981)

Priscilla Wong Tsui-yu is a Hong Kong actress and television host. Wong began her career as an anchor at i-Cable in 2003, later joining TVB in 2012 for her acting career. She made her TV acting debut in Reality Check (2013) and received the "Most Improved Female Artiste" award at the 47th TVB Anniversary Awards in 2014.

<i>Paradox</i> (2017 film) 2017 Hong Kong film

Paradox is a 2017 neo-noir Hong Kong action film directed by Wilson Yip, co-produced by Soi Cheang, with action direction by Sammo Hung. Written by Jill Leung and Nick Cheuk, the film stars Louis Koo as a police inspector who travels to Pattaya to search for his teenage daughter and is aided by local detectives played by Tony Jaa and Wu Yue. Along the way, he encounters the mastermind of an organ trafficking gang who colludes with a local political aide, leading to a series of hot pursuit. Paradox is the third installment of the SPL film series, following the 2005 film, SPL: Sha Po Lang and 2015's SPL II: A Time for Consequences. The film was released in China on 17 August 2017 and in Hong Kong on 25 August 2017 and has grossed US$80.84 million worldwide against a budget of US$14.5 million.

<i>Warriors of Future</i> 2022 Hong Kong sci-fi action film

Warriors of Future, previously known as Virtus, is a 2022 Hong Kong science fiction action film directed by visual effects artist Ng Yuen-fai in his directorial debut and starring Louis Koo, Sean Lau, and Carina Lau. Koo also serves as the film's executive producer, with the film being funded and distributed by his production company, One Cool Group Limited.

Philip Keung Ho-man is a Hong Kong actor and film producer. Keung began his acting career as a television actor in 1985 for Asia Television (ATV), and also began appearing in films from 1988. He eventually left ATV in 2010 and became a full-time film actor while occasionally acting in television series from time to time. In 2017, Keung was nominated for the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 2016 film, Trivisa, and in the following year, Keung won the award for his performance in the 2017 film, Shock Wave.

Death Notice, previously known as Death Notify, is a 2023 Hong Kong action thriller film directed by Herman Yau and starring Louis Koo, Julian Cheung and Francis Ng. Based on the Chinese novel of the same title by Zhou Haohui, production for the film began in April 2018.

<i>Tracey</i> (film) 2018 Hong Kong drama film

Tracey is a 2018 Hong Kong drama film written and directed by Jun Li and starring Philip Keung as the titular protagonist, a 51-year-old married man and father whose craving for feminization increases, leading him to transition from male to female both mentally and physically. Filming for Tracey began on 5 December 2017 and the film premiered at the 2018 Tokyo International Film Festival on 28 October 2018 before it was theatrically released on 22 November 2018 in Hong Kong.

<i>L Storm</i> 2018 Hong Kong crime thriller film

L Storm is a 2018 Hong Kong action thriller film directed by David Lam, and starring Louis Koo and Julian Cheung, alongside Kevin Cheng, Stephy Tang, Patrick Tam, Michael Tse and Adam Pak in his debut film role.

<i>Once Upon a Time in Hong Kong</i> (2021 film) 2021 Hong Kong film

Once Upon a Time in Hong Kong, previously known as Money Empire and I Corrupt All Cops 2 is a 2021 Hong Kong action crime film directed by Wong Jing and Woody Hui, and starring Louis Koo, Tony Leung, Francis Ng and Gordon Lam. The film is a thematic sequel to the 2009 film I Corrupt All Cops, featuring a new storyline. Koo and Lam play ICAC investigators who battle against notorious drug lord Crippled Ho (Leung) and corrupt police detective Chui Lok (Ng). The film was released on 29 April 2021.
