The Hellenic Navy is the naval warfare service branch of the Armed Forces of Greece. As of 2024, the Navy operates a wide variety of warships including: 13 frigates, 10 submarines, 19 missile boats, 10 gunboats, and 15 helicopters.

Modern Greek military ranks are based on Ancient Greek and Byzantine terminology.
The Thessaloniki Metro is an underground rapid-transit system under construction in Thessaloniki, Greece's second largest city. Estimates for the cost of the megaproject are €1.62 billion ($1.83 billion) for the main line and €640 million ($723 million) for the Kalamaria extension, for a total of €2.26 billion ($2.55 billion). The project is primarily funded with loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and funds from the Greek government. Construction by a Greek-Italian consortium is overseen by Elliniko Metro S.A., the Greek state-owned company which oversaw construction of the Athens Metro and Athens Tram. It will operated by the Thema S.A. Franco-Italian consortium.
The Athens War Museum is the military museum of the Greek Armed Forces. It is located at the Athens city center and it is served by the Athens Metro station of Evangelismos.
The Roussen class is a seven-strong class of British-designed fast attack missile boats improved and customized for the Hellenic Navy, also known as Super Vita. The class is named after its lead ship, which in turn is named after Lt Nikolaos Roussen, a World War II submarines officer who was killed in the suppression of the Navy mutiny in April 1944.
The Underwater Demolition Command, abbreviated as DYK and known until 2001 as the Underwater Demolition Unit, abbreviated as MYK, is the Greek Navy's special warfare unit.

The Agia Sophia Stadium, also known as OPAP Arena for sponsorship reasons and as AEK Arena for UEFA competitions, is the home stadium of AEK Athens. With an all-seater capacity of 32,500 it is the third largest football stadium overall in Greece. It is located in Nea Filadelfeia, a northwestern suburb of Athens, Greece. The new arena was built on the site of the former Nikos Goumas Stadium. The construction of the arena was completed in October 2022. Agia Sophia Stadium is the newest stadium built in Greece.
Legislative elections were held in Greece on Sunday, 20 September 2015, following Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras' announced resignation on 20 August. At stake were all 300 seats in the Hellenic Parliament. This was a snap election, the sixth since 2007, since new elections were not due until February 2019.
Thanasis Laskaridis is a Greek shipowner and businessman based in the United Kingdom. He was president and CEO of Lavinia Corporation from 1977 until 2021. He is also founder of the Athanasios C. Laskaridis Charitable Foundation, The People's Trust in Greece, and co-founder of the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation. He has six children.
The Hellenic Naval Band is a Greek military band which was established in 1880. It is located at the military base in Votanikos, Athens. For more than a century, the band has performed at major state events in Greece on behalf of the Hellenic Navy, as well as on radio and television, and toured extensively abroad. The band participated in the opening ceremony of the 1896 Summer Olympics and in the 2004 Summer Olympics, as well as in several military music festivals in the Europe. The current bandmaster of the band is Lieutenant Commander Georgios Tsilibaris.
Katerina Sakellaropoulou is a Greek judge who has been the president of Greece since 13 March 2020. She was elected by the Hellenic Parliament to succeed Prokopis Pavlopoulos on 22 January 2020. Prior to her election as president, Sakellaropoulou served as president of the Council of State, the highest administrative court of Greece. She is the country's first female president.
National Party – Greeks, formerly Greeks for the Fatherland, is a Greek far-right political party founded on 4 June 2020, by Ilias Kasidiaris, a former MP and spokesperson of Golden Dawn, who is currently serving a 13-year prison term for his involvement in the criminal organisation run by Golden Dawn, allegations for which he maintains his innocence.
The Greek Basketball Super Cup or Hellenic Basketball Super Cup, is the top-tier level professional basketball national super cup competition in Greece. The first edition of the tournament, was organized by the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 1986. It was contested by the Greek Basket League champions and the Greek Basketball Cup winners. However, the Greek Basketball Super Cup was revived in 2020, by the Hellenic Basketball Association (HEBA), under a final four tournament format.
The 2022–23 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system.
The 2022 Greek Basketball Super Cup is the 3rd edition of the revived Greek professional domestic basketball super cup competition, under the auspices of the Hellenic Basketball Clubs Association (HEBA), and the 4th overall. The Greek Basketball Super Cup had been played only three times before, in 1986 under the auspices of the Hellenic Basketball Federation (E.O.K.), in 2020, and in 2021. All games were hosted in Kallithea Palais des Sports in Rhodes, Greece.

In recent years, Greece has also started its own drone production program and, together with the purchase or rental of uavs, has built one of the largest fleets of drones in the region.
The New Left is a left-wing democratic socialist political party in the Hellenic Parliament. It was founded on 4 December 2023 by eleven independent MPs who left the Syriza party. The president of the parliamentary group is Alexis Haritsis. The New Left officially became a party on 3 March 2024 after its founding conference.
Onassis Stegi, formerly known as the Onassis Cultural Center, is a cultural venue in Athens, Greece, owned by the Onassis Foundation. Afroditi Panagiotakou serves as Director of Culture of the Onassis Foundation and Stegi respectively.
The Kimon class, also known as the FDI HN, is a frigate class for the Hellenic Navy. The FDI HN is a more heavily armed version of the French frigates. The lead ship is expected to be commissioned in early 2025.
