Ice hockey tournaments have been staged at the Olympic Games since 1920. The men's tournament was introduced at the 1920 Summer Olympics and was transferred permanently to the Winter Olympic Games program in 1924, in France. The women's tournament was first held at the 1998 Winter Olympics.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">South Korea men's national ice hockey team</span>

The South Korean national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of the Republic of Korea. They are currently ranked 19th in the IIHF World Rankings and competed in the World Championship top division tournament. The team's most successful campaign thus far was a second-place finish in the 2017 Division I Group A tournament and thus qualifying for the top division in 2018. They competed in their first Winter Olympics in 2018 in Pyeongchang as the host nation.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation through the Bosnia and Herzegovina Ice Hockey Federation.

The India national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of India. They are controlled by the Ice Hockey Association of India and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). India is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Ranking and has not entered in any World Championship tournaments or at any Olympic Games; they have only played in the Challenge Cup of Asia, a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia.

The Thailand national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Thailand. The team is controlled by the Ice Hockey Association of Thailand and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation. Thailand is currently ranked at fifty-first in the IIHF World Rankings and have been entered in the World Championship tournaments since 2019 but have not yet participated at any Olympic Games. They have played in the Challenge Cup of Asia, a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia.

The Moroccan national ice hockey team is the men's national ice hockey team of Morocco. The team is controlled by the Royal Moroccan Ice Hockey Federation and has been an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The team's home rink is in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The Kuwaiti national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Kuwait. Kuwait is not ranked in the IIHF World Rankings and have not entered in any World Championships; the team has played in the Challenge Cup of Asia, a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia. They made their debut at the 2018 World Championship Division III Qualification tournament.

Noora Helena Räty is a Finnish ice hockey goaltender, currently playing in the Naisten Liiga (NSML) with HPK Kiekkonaiset. She is affiliated with the Minnesota chapter of the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) and is a founding member of the organization's board.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Georgia men's national ice hockey team</span> National mens ice hockey team of Georgia

The Georgian men's national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Georgia, and has been a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since 8 May 2009. As of 2022, Georgia is ranked 43rd in the World Ranking. Georgia first played in the World Championships tournament in 2013, and remained at Division III level until winning at that level in 2018 and earning a promotion to Division II Group B, where they currently play.

The Turkmenistan national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Turkmenistan. The team is controlled by the Turkmenistan Ice Hockey Federation and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Turkmenistan is currently ranked 49th in the IIHF World Ranking and made its debut in the 2018 World Championship Division III Qualification tournament.

The Colombia national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Colombia, is controlled by the Colombian Ice Hockey Federation, and on 26 September 2019, became an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Colombia is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Ranking and has not entered in any IIHF World Championship events. They are working on the women's national ice hockey team and have participated in the Amerigol LATAM Cup some years and other tournaments like the Pan American Ice Hockey Tournament.

Meeri Räisänen is a Finnish ice hockey goaltender and member of the Finnish national ice hockey team, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Connecticut Whale. As a member of the Finnish national team, she won Olympic bronze medals in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2018 Winter Olympics and the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2022 Winter Olympics, World Championship bronze medals in 2015 and 2021, and was named to the World Championship All-Star Team in 2015 and 2016.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Iran men's national ice hockey team</span>

The Iran national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Iran. The team was founded in June 2016, is controlled by the Islamic Republic of Iran Skating Federation, and on 26 September 2019, became an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Iran made its debut in the IIHF World Championship in 2022. As of 2022, Iran is ranked 56th in the IIHF World Ranking.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Philippines men's national ice hockey team</span>

The Philippines national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of the Philippines. They are controlled by the Federation of Ice Hockey League (FIHL) and a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) since 20 May 2016. The Philippines is currently ranked 54th in the IIHF World Ranking and will make its World Championship debut in Division IV tournament in 2023.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Indonesia men's national ice hockey team</span>

The Indonesian national ice hockey team is the national men's ice hockey team of Indonesia and has been an associate member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). Indonesia is currently not ranked in the IIHF World Ranking and have not entered in any World Championship tournaments or at any Olympic Games, but have played in the Challenge Cup of Asia, a regional tournament for lower-tier hockey nations in Asia.

The men's tournament in ice hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics took place in Beijing, China between 9 and 20 February 2022. Twelve countries qualified for the tournament; eight of them did so automatically by virtue of their ranking by the International Ice Hockey Federation, one, China, automatically qualified as hosts, while the three others took part in a qualification tournament.
