Tando Muhammad Khan District District in Sindh, Pakistan

Tando Muhammad Khan District is a district in the southern part of Sindh province in Pakistan. In north of the district, Hyderabad and Tando Allahyar districts are located; Badin district lies on south and east; and West boundary is shared with Sujawal District. The Indus River flows through Northwest. Tando Muhammad Khan district comprises the three talukas of Tando Muhammad Khan, Bulri Shah Karim and Tando Ghulam Hyder.

Talpur dynasty

The Talpur dynasty were rulers based in Sindh, in what is now the modern-day Pakistan. Four branches of the dynasty were established following the defeat of the Kalhora dynasty at the Battle of Halani in 1743: one ruled lower Sindh from the city of Hyderabad, another ruled over upper Sindh from the city of Khairpur, a third ruled around the eastern city of Mirpur Khas, and a fourth was based in Tando Muhammad Khan. The Talpurs were ethnically Baloch, and Shia by faith. They ruled from 1783, until 1843, when they were in turn defeated by the British at the Battle of Miani and Battle of Dubbo. The northern Khairpur branch of the Talpur dynasty, however, continued to maintain a degree of sovereignty during British rule as the princely state of Khairpur, whose ruler elected to join the new Dominion of Pakistan in October 1947 as an autonomous region, before being fully amalgamated into West Pakistan in 1955.

Tando Qaiser is a town in Hyderabad District, Pakistan. It is named after 18th-century leader of Nizamani tribe in Sindh, Qaiser Khan Nizamani who founded the village after his son Gulham Ali Nizamani died there whilst Qaiser, his younger brother Aloda and their forces were moving north to their original home of Dera Ghazi Khan in Southern Punjab. Tando means fortified settlement and indicates original settlement founded by Qaiser was a militarily fortified settlement.

Kot Ghulam Muhammad Place in Mirpurkhas, Pakistan

Kot Ghulam Muhammad Bhurgri is named after Ghulam Muhammad Khan Bhurgri, the town situated in south-east Mirpur Khas District of the Southern Province Sindh in Pakistan. Kot Ghlam Muhammad Bhurgri is situated west of Samaro and north of Digri. It is about 45 kilometres (28 mi) south of Mirpur Khas.

<i>Awam Express</i>

Awam Express is a passenger train operated daily by Pakistan Railways between Karachi and Peshawar. It is one of the longest continuous running passenger trains in Pakistan. The trip takes approximately 33 hours and 30 minutes to cover a published distance of 1,721 kilometres (1,069 mi), traveling along the entire stretch of the Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line.

Sujawal District District in Sindh, Pakistan

Sujawal District is a district of the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is located at 24°36'23" of North and 68°4'19" of East and is bordered in the northwest by the Indus river which separates it from Thatta District. The district has an area of 7335 km².

Karachi–Peshawar Line A CEPC project

Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line is one of four main railway lines in Pakistan, operated and maintained by Pakistan Railways. The line begins from Karachi City station or Kiamari station and ends at Peshawar Cantonment Station. The total length of this railway line is 1,687 kilometers (1,048 mi). There are 184 railway stations from Kiamari to Peshawar Cantonment on this line. The line serves as the main passenger and freight line of the country. 75% of the country's cargo and passenger traffic uses the line. The line is currently undergoing a six-year 886.68 billion (US$5.4 billion) upgrade and renovation as part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor, with average rail speeds expected be doubled to 160 kilometers per hour upon completion.
