<i>Khyber Mail</i> (passenger train) Pakistani passenger train

Khyber Mail is a passenger train operated daily by Pakistan Railways between Karachi and Peshawar. The trip takes approximately 32 hours, to cover a published distance of 1,764 kilometres (1,096 mi), traveling along the entire stretch of the Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line. The train named after the famous Khyber Pass, located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The Khyber Mail is one of Pakistan's oldest and most prestigious passenger trains that has been continuously running since 12 February 1920. The Train has completed its 100 years of Service on February 12, 2020. The Train departs Karachi Cantonment at 22.00 hrs every night, Lahore Junction arrival next night 19.45 hrs & departure 20.20 hrs. The train reaches Peshawar Cantonment at 06.00 hrs on 3rd morning. Return timings is also same in Peshawar Cantonment to Karachi Cantonment journey. The train departs Peshawar Cantonment at 22.00 hrs, Lahore Junction arrival next morning 07.40 hrs & departure 08.15hrs. The train reaches Karachi Cantonment at 06.00 hrs on 3rd morning.

<i>Jaffar Express</i> Pakistani passenger train

Jaffar Express is a passenger train operated daily by Pakistan Railways between Quetta and Peshawar. The trip takes approximately 34 hours, 10 minutes to cover a published distance of 1,632 kilometres (1,014 mi), traveling along a stretch of the Rohri–Chaman Railway Line and Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line.

<i>Awam Express</i> Pakistani express train

Awam Express is a passenger train operated daily by Pakistan Railways between Karachi and Peshawar. The trip took approximately 33 hours and 30 minutes to cover a published distance of 1,732 kilometres (1,076 mi), traveling along the entire stretch of the Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line.

<i>Tezrao</i> Pakistani passenger train

Tezrao was a daily express train (5-Up/6-Down) service in Pakistan. The train ran between Karachi and Peshawar. Its name was changed to Zulfiqar Express during the Peoples Party government. After the Peoples Party government its name changed again to Tezrao. The train had economy and first-class sleeper accommodation. In 2008, its route was changed to Mardan to Karachi by the then railway minister Ghulam Ahmed Bilour .It was suspended on 20 July 2010 due to lack of locomotives.

Sukheke Mandi is a town near Pindi Bhattian in the Hafizabad District, within Gujranwala Division of Punjab, Pakistan. It is located along the Sargodha-Lahore road and the Faisalabad-Wazirabad railway track, making it accessible by both road and rail.

The Provincial Highways of Punjab consists of all public highways maintained by the Pakistani province of Punjab. The Punjab Highway Department under the Department of Transportation maintains over 38,000 kilometres (24,000 mi) of roadways organised into various classifications which crisscross the province and provide access to major population centres. These are not to be confused with national highways which are federal roads maintained by the Government of Pakistan and the National Highway Authority.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Karachi–Peshawar Line</span> Main railway line in Pakistan

Karachi–Peshawar Railway Line is one of four main railway lines in Pakistan, operated and maintained by Pakistan Railways. The line starts from Kiamari station in the province of Sindh and ends at Peshawar Cantonment Station in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The railway track is dual between Keamari and Shahdara Bagh, Chaklala and Golra Sharif. The total length of the line is 1,687 kilometers (1,048 mi), with 176 railway stations in between. The line serves as the country's main passenger and freight line with 75% of the country's cargo and passenger traffic.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Gujrat Division</span> Division in Punjab, Pakistan

Gujrat Division is an administrative division of the Punjab province of Pakistan, with it being headquartered in the Gujrat city. It came into being on 17 August 2022 after districts Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, and Hafizabad of the previously Gujranwala Division were grouped together in a separate division, increasing the number of divisions in the province to ten. The Wazirabad District was later on 14 October 2022 added under Gujrat Division making it a total of four districts. The change was made official after a notification issued by the Board of Revenue under section 5 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act 1967. Before this bifurcation, Gujranwala division was among the largest in the province, with a population of approximately 16 million. Ahmad Kamal Maan was notified as the first commissioner of the division and Mohammad Akhtar Abbas will be the Regional police officer (RPO).
