Lockridge is a city in Jefferson County, Iowa, United States. The population was 244 at the time of the 2020 census. [3] Lockridge was one of the communities considered for the county seat in 1839, but lost out to Fairfield. [4]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.74 square miles (1.92 km2), all land. [5]

Of the 106 households, 25.5% of which had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.2% were married couples living together, 7.5% were cohabitating couples, 25.5% had a female householder with no spouse or partner present and 19.8% had a male householder with no spouse or partner present. 32.1% of all households were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals, 11.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years old or older.
