Ludlam Road, also West 67th Avenue, is a 21.8-mile (35.1 km) north–south street that runs west of downtown Miami in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
The southern terminus of Ludlam Road/W 67th Avenue is at the Charles Deering Estate at Coral Reef Drive. It commences here north through the village of Palmetto Bay, until crossing South 136th Street (Howard Drive) where it enters the village of Pinecrest. [1]
It is the main north–south street in the village of Pinecrest, almost evenly bisecting the village. [2]
It exits the village of Pinecrest after crossing Snapper Creek (Canal C-2) a short distance north of Kendall Drive (South 88th Street/SR 94), and continues north into unincorporated Miami-Dade County for a short distance until it enters the city of South Miami at South 80th Street. [3]
At Southwest 60th Street it borders South Miami on the east, and unincorporated Miami-Dade County on the west. At South 48th Street it enters unincorporated Miami-Dade County.
It continues north through the community of South Coral Terrace until it enters the city of Miami after crossing South 8th Street (Tamiami Trail).
It dead-ends at Lake Mahar, a short distance north of Tamiami Canal Road in Miami.
It continues inside the Miami International Airport at North 22nd Street, going north following the perimeter of the airport until it ends at North 36th Street.
It continues at North 38th Street in the city of Miami Springs, going north until it becomes Crane Avenue at Thrush Avenue.
It continues in Hialeah at US 27 (Okeechobee Road), going north through Hialeah as Hialeah's West 12th Avenue (Milander Road) until it crosses the Gratigny Parkway and North 138th Street (Miami grid) or West 84th Street (Hialeah grid) and enters the incorporated town of Miami Lakes.
It continues north through Miami Lakes (again as Ludlam Road) as the main north–south street until it exits Miami Lakes at North 167th Street (Service Road to the Palmetto Expressway).
It continues north through unincorporated Miami-Dade County until it crosses into Broward County at North 202nd Street (Honey Hill Drive) and becomes Flamingo Road.
State Road 860 (SR 860), locally known as Miami Gardens Drive or North 183rd Street, is a 13-mile-long (21 km) east–west street serving bedroom communities in northern Miami-Dade County, Florida. Its western terminus is a diamond interchange with Interstate 75 in the Palm Springs North area near Miami Lakes, passing through Carol City, Miami Gardens, and North Miami Beach before ending at an intersection with Biscayne Boulevard in Aventura. State Road 860 is a major commuter road passing by major shopping centers and industrial parks separated by suburban communities, and often serves as an alternate to the northern (east–west) segment of the often-congested Palmetto Expressway and the Golden Glades Interchange to the south.
State Road 826 is a bypass route around the greater Miami area, traveling approximately 30 miles (48 km) in a northeasterly arc from U.S. Route 1 in Pinecrest to its terminus at State Road A1A in Sunny Isles Beach. Between its southern terminus and the Golden Glades Interchange, State Road 826 is known as the Palmetto Bypass Expressway, a heavily traveled freeway with portions of the road carrying in excess of 250,000 vehicles a day. Unlike many of the other non-interstate freeways in Miami-Dade County, the Palmetto Bypass Expressway is untolled. East of the interchange, State Road 826 is a surface road connecting North Miami and North Miami Beach to Sunny Isles Beach over the Intracoastal Waterway.
State Road 924 is a 8.5 miles (13.7 km) east–west highway connecting Interstate 75 and the Palmetto Expressway in Hialeah and SR 909 in North Miami. The westernmost 4.85 miles, named the Gratigny Parkway, is a limited access all-electronic toll road maintained by the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority ; the easternmost 3.6 miles (5.8 km) is a surface street also known as Gratigny Road. Despite its relatively short length, SR 924 is a major east–west artery in northern Miami-Dade County.
State Road 997, also known as Krome Avenue and West 177th Avenue is a 36.7-mile-long (59.1 km) north–south state highway in western Miami-Dade County, Florida. It runs from State Road 998 in Homestead north across U.S. Route 41 to U.S. Route 27 near Countyline Dragway, just south of the Broward County line. Its main use is as a bypass around the western side of Miami, linking the routes that run southwest, west and northwest from that city. The road passes through newer suburbs in the southern third of its length, while the northern two thirds of the highway traverse the eastern edge of the Everglades.
State Road 969, locally known as Milam Dairy Road and West 72nd Avenue, is a 5.2-mile-long (8.4 km) north–south street west of Miami International Airport in western Miami-Dade County, Florida. The southern terminus is currently an intersection with SR 968 in the city of Miami, and its northern terminus is an intersection with SR 934, just south of Medley.
State Road 944, locally known as Hialeah Drive and North 54th Street, is a 5.822-mile-long (9.370 km) east–west street spanning Hialeah and Miami, Florida. The western terminus is an intersection with Okeechobee Road in Hialeah; its eastern terminus is an intersection with Biscayne Boulevard. Along with the north–south Palm Avenue, Hialeah Drive is a baseline for addresses in the City of Hialeah.
Florida State Road 823 (SR 823) is a 20.6-mile (33.2 km) long state highway in the U.S. state of Florida. The road runs from U.S. Route 27 in Hialeah to Interstate 595 and SR 84 in Davie. The section in Miami-Dade County, through Hialeah and Miami Lakes, is known as Red Road. In Broward County, the road turns northwest and merges into Flamingo Road, until its terminus in Davie, though the road continues without designation into Sunrise.
State Road 934 runs for 13.1 miles (21.1 km) from State Road 826 in Medley to SR A1A in Miami Beach. It is a major east–west highway in the Miami metropolitan area.
State Road 990 is the 2.97-mile-long (4.78 km) central section of the approximately 11.6-mile-long (18.7 km) Killian Drive, also known as Killian Parkway, Southwest 104th Street and Southwest 112th Street and historically South Kendall Drive, located in southern Miami-Dade County, Florida. Running from east to west, it serves to connect the community of The Hammocks with the village of Pinecrest via the community of Kendall, with State Road 990 connecting Southwest 107th Avenue and the Don Shula Expressway to the South Dixie Highway. Recognising the role the road played in southern Miami-Dade County's history and development, the section of State Road 990 between the Expressway and US 1 was designated the Killian Drive State Historic Highway by the Florida Senate in 1995.
Sunset Drive, also known as Southwest 72nd Street is a 12.5-mile-long (20.1 km) east–west arterial road traversing the southwestern suburbs of Miami, Florida, from the northwestern portions of the Kendall area to Coral Gables. A central portion of Sunset Drive is maintained by the Florida Department of Transportation as State Road 986, which runs from the Homestead Extension (HEFT) underpass to Southwest 69th Avenue and is signed through South Miami to US 1.

Douglas Road, also West 37th Avenue on the greater Miami grid plan and Northwest 88th Avenue in Miramar, is a 20.4-mile (32.8 km) north–south thoroughfare running west of downtown Miami in Miami-Dade County and Broward County, Florida. It changes names and becomes Pine Island Road, at the intersection with Sheridan Street.
