Lunamarine (punarnavine) is a quinolone alkaloid present in Boerhavia diffusa (punarnava).

The compound has shown some in vitro anticancer, [1] antiestrogenic, [2] immunomodulatory, [3] and anti-amoebic activity (particularly against Entamoeba histolytica ). [4]
