MS Al Hussein is a ro-ro freight ferry operated by Arab Bridge Maritime. Built by Spanish shipyard Astilleros de Huelva, Seatruck Pace entered service In March 2009 on the Liverpool - Dublin route, named Clipper Pace for Seatruck Ferries . [1]
Al Hussein is the third of four new ships for Seatruck. Her service speed of over 21 knots (39 km/h) enabled crossing times between Liverpool and Dublin to be reduced to six hours. Older ships like the Riverdance and Moondance took nine and a half hours to do the same journey. [2]
In February 2012, the vessel was renamed Seatruck Pace. In May 2012 Seatruck Pace was chartered to DFDS and deployed on the Rosyth - Zeebrugge route.
Al Hussein is one of four "P Series" ro-ro freight ferries. It has a length of 142 metres (466 ft), a beam of 23 metres (75 ft) and a draft of 5.7 metres (19 ft). [3] Det Norske Veritas class the vessel as a 1A1 General Cargo Carrier - with whom Seatruck Pace is allocated the number 26468.
The vessel is designed to fit in Heysham harbour ("Heysham max"). Trailers are carried over three decks.
The vessel is powered by two Wärtsilä 8L46D, 9240 kW each, diesel engines which drive two propellers. The vessel is also equipped with two Wärtsilä CT200 bow thrusters. [3]

Built by Astilleros de Huelva in Spain in 1997 as Lehola for the Estonian Shipping Company she has served a number of owners and operators as RR Triumph and Triumph before her sale to Clipper Group and being renamed Clipper Racer. In 2011, she was chartered to NorthLink Ferries and renamed Helliar.
MV Arrow is a 7,606 GT Ro-Ro ferry built by Astilleros de Huelva SA, Huelva, Spain in 1998 as Varbola for the Estonian Shipping Company, Tallinn. During a charter to Dart Line she was renamed Dart 6, reverting to Varbola when the charter ended. In 2005, she was sold to Malta and renamed RR Arrow. In 2007, she was sold to Seatruck Ferries, Heysham and renamed Arrow. In September 2022, it was revealed that she had been bought by Isle of Man Steam Packet Company for an estimated €9 million.
Hildasay is a 7,606 GT roll-on/roll-off ferry which was built by Astilleros de Huelva, Spain in 1999 as Leili for the Estonian Shipping Company. During a charter to Crowley Maritime she was renamed Port Everglades Express, reverting to Leili when the charter ended. In 2005, she was sold to Greece and renamed RR Shield. In 2008, she was sold to Seatruck Ferries and renamed Shield. In January 2010 she was chartered to NorthLink Ferries and renamed Hildasay.
Heysham Port in Heysham, Lancashire, England, ships mainly roll-on/roll-off freight, with one passenger service run by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, which operates a twice daily sailing to Isle of Man. There are three freight routes run by Seatruck Ferries and Stena Line which all sail to Ireland daily. Heysham Port railway station links it to Lancaster via Morecambe. Adjacent to the dock site is Heysham nuclear power station.

MV Loch Seaforth is a ferry operated by Caledonian MacBrayne between Stornoway and Ullapool. She was launched on 21 March 2014 and entered service in mid-February 2015, replacing both the former vessel, 1995-built MV Isle of Lewis and a chartered freight vessel.
