MS Seatruck Point is owned and operated by Seatruck Ferries. Built by Spanish shipyard Astilleros de Huelva, Clipper Point entered service on 21 March 2008. [1]
Clipper Point was launched in 2006, and christened on 7 October. She is the first of four "P Series" ships for Seatruck. Her speed of 22 knots (41 km/h) enables crossing times between Liverpool and Dublin to be reduced to six hours. Older ships like the Riverdance and Moondance took nine and a half hours to do the same journey. [2]
In May 2012, Clipper Point was chartered to DFDS, operating on the Cuxhaven–Immingham route.
Seatruck Point is one of four "P Series" ro-ro freight ferries. It has a length of 142 metres (466 ft), a beam of 23 metres (75 ft) and a draft of 5.7 metres (19 ft). [3] Det Norske Veritas class the vessel as a 1A1 General Cargo Carrier - with whom Clipper Point is allocated the number 26467.
The vessel is designed to fit in Heysham harbour ("Heysham max"). Trailers are carried over three decks.
The vessel is powered by two Wärtsilä 8L46 diesel engines [4] which drive two controllable pitch propellers. [4] The vessel is also equipped with two Wärtsilä CT200 bow thrusters. [3]
MV Ben-my-Chree is a Ro-Pax vessel which was launched and entered service in 1998. The flagship of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, she primarily operates on the Douglas to Heysham route until replaced by MV Manxman in Late 2023.
Riverdance was a roll-on/roll-off ferry in service with Seatruck Ferries on the Irish Sea. On 31 January 2008 she was hit by a wave that caused her cargo to shift and she beached at Blackpool, very close to the boundary with Cleveleys. Large amounts of the ship's cargo was spilled overboard after the ship ran aground, resulting in much of it being salvaged by members of the public. Attempts to refloat her failed, and she was scrapped on site during 2008.
MS Sevenhill is a ro-ro freight ferry built in 1978. It is a sister ship to Riverdance. She was probably best known for its time at Seatruck Ferries, named Moondance. The vessel was originally built for Emadala Shipping.
Seatruck Ferries is a UK-based freight-only ferry company which commenced services in 1996. It is a subsidiary of CLdN. It operates out of four ports on the Irish Sea, including Heysham and Liverpool.
SCF Sakhalin is a Russian icebreaking platform supply and standby vessel owned by SCF Sakhalin Vessels Limited, a subsidiary of Sovcomflot. The ship was built by Aker Finnyards Helsinki shipyard in Finland in 2005 as FESCO Sakhalin for Far East Shipping Company (FESCO), but was purchased by Sovcomflot and renamed in 2010. Since the beginning it has been in long-term charter for Exxon Neftegas Ltd. and used to supply oil platforms in the Sakhalin-I project.
MS Seatruck Pace is a ro-ro freight ferry operated by Seatruck Ferries. Built by Spanish shipyard Astilleros de Huelva, Seatruck Pace entered service In March 2009 on the Liverpool - Dublin route, named Clipper Pace.

Built by Astilleros de Huelva in Spain in 1997 as Lehola for the Estonian Shipping Company she has served a number of owners and operators as RR Triumph and Triumph before her sale to Clipper Group and being renamed Clipper Racer. In 2011, she was chartered to NorthLink Ferries and renamed Helliar.
MS Arrow is a 7,606 GT Ro-Ro ferry built by Astilleros de Huelva SA, Huelva, Spain in 1998 as Varbola for the Estonian Shipping Company, Tallinn. During a charter to Dart Line she was renamed Dart 6, reverting to Varbola when the charter ended. In 2005, she was sold to Malta and renamed RR Arrow. In 2007, she was sold to Seatruck Ferries, Heysham and renamed Arrow. In September 2022, it was revealed that she had been bought by Isle of Man Steam Packet Company for an estimated €9 million.
Hildasay is a 7,606 GT roll-on/roll-off ferry which was built by Astilleros de Huelva, Spain in 1999 as Leili for the Estonian Shipping Company. During a charter to Crowley Maritime she was renamed Port Everglades Express, reverting to Leili when the charter ended. In 2005, she was sold to Greece and renamed RR Shield. In 2008, she was sold to Seatruck Ferries and renamed Shield. In January 2010 she was chartered to NorthLink Ferries and renamed Hildasay.
MS Seatruck Progress is a ro-ro freight ferry that entered service with Seatruck Ferries in December 2011.
MS Seatruck Power is a ro-ro freight ferry that entered service with Seatruck Ferries in February 2012.
