Manila Bay is a natural harbor that serves the Port of Manila, in the Philippines. Strategically located around the capital city of the Philippines, Manila Bay facilitated commerce and trade between the Philippines and its neighboring countries, becoming the gateway for socio-economic development even prior to Spanish occupation. With an area of 1,994 km2 (769.9 sq mi), and a coastline of 190 km (118.1 mi), Manila Bay is situated in the western part of Luzon and is bounded by Cavite and Metro Manila on the east, Bulacan and Pampanga on the north, and Bataan on the west and northwest. Manila Bay drains approximately 17,000 km2 (6,563.7 sq mi) of watershed area, with the Pampanga River contributing about 49% of the freshwater influx. With an average depth of 17 m (55.8 ft), it is estimated to have a total volume of 28.9 billion cubic meters. Entrance to the bay is 19 km (11.8 mi) wide and expands to a width of 48 km (29.8 mi). However, width of the bay varies from 22 km (13.7 mi) at its mouth and expanding to 60 km (37.3 mi) at its widest point.
Epifanio de los Santos Avenue, commonly referred to by its acronym EDSA, is a limited-access circumferential highway around Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. It passes through 6 of Metro Manila's 17 local government units or cities, namely, from north to south, Caloocan, Quezon City, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati, and Pasay.

Among its landmark projects is Forbes Town Center, a 6-hectare commercial and residential district in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig, Metro Manila. Another project by Megaworld is the 45-storey Petron Megaplaza office skyscraper, which was the tallest building in the country upon its completion in 1998. Also, last May 31, 2016, Megaworld announced that they will build two more office towers, 10-storey One Republic Plaza, and six-storey Emperador House, in Davao City. The two towers will provide an additional 30,000 sqm of office spaces for lease.
The Las Piñas–Parañaque Critical Habitat and Ecotourism Area (LPPCHEA), also known as the Las Piñas–Parañaque Wetland Park, is a protected area at the coasts of the cities of Las Piñas and Parañaque in Metro Manila, Philippines. The entire wetland is a declared Ramsar site under the Ramsar Convention of UNESCO.
New Clark City is a planned community currently undergoing development, located within the Clark Special Economic Zone in the towns of Bamban and Capas in Tarlac province, Philippines. It has an area of approximately 9,450 hectares and will accommodate up to 1.2 million people. It is owned and managed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).
Aseana City is a 204-hectare (500-acre) mixed-use central business district development located in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. Owned and developed by D.M. Mandani Bay is a waterfront, 20 ha mixed-use development currently under construction on North Reclamation Area, Mandaue, Philippines. The development takes its name from "Mandani", an old name for Mandaue, and "Bay" from its obvious waterfront location. This project is to be developed by HTLand Inc., a joint venture by Hong Kong-based Hong Kong Land and Cebu-based Taft Properties, the real estate arm of Vicsal Development Corporation, which also owns the Metro Retail Stores Group.
New Manila International Airport, also known as Bulacan International Airport, is an international airport under construction on the coastal areas of Bulakan, Bulacan, 35 km (22 mi) north of the capital Manila. The project was proposed by the San Miguel Corporation (SMC) and is set to help decongest Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), the main gateway to the capital for air travelers.
Don Galo, also historically known as Dongalo, is an administrative division in southern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a barangay in the city of Parañaque along the north bank of the Parañaque River by its mouth in Manila Bay. It is located directly west of the village of Santo Niño, separated from it by the Estero de Tripa de Gallina stream, and between Tambo to the north and the Parañaque poblacion of La Huerta to the south. The barangay also includes the southernmost section of Bay City, including portions of the Asia World subdistrict such as Entertainment City and Marina Bay.
Tambo is an administrative division in southern Metro Manila, the Philippines. It is a coastal barangay in the city of Parañaque situated just south of Baclaran adjoining Ninoy Aquino International Airport complex to the east.
Vertis North is a mixed-used development in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. It is a joint venture project between Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) and the National Housing Authority (NHA). Similar to Makati, it has a mix of developments such as residential developments similar to Legaspi and Salcedo Villages in Makati and open spaces such as Ayala Triangle Garden and Greenbelt Park.
Horizon Manila is an upcoming mixed-use planned community to be built on a 419-hectare reclaimed land in Manila Bay. It has been described as the biggest reclamation project in Manila, Philippines. Horizon Manila will be composed of three islands: Island 1, Island 2 and Island 3. The project was approved by the Philippine Reclamation Authority in 2019 and construction will begin in the second half of 2023.
The reclamation of land from the surrounding waters of Metro Manila is used to expand the region's limited area of usable and natural land. There are about 25 projects that aims to reclaim more than 10,000 hectares (100 km2) of land in Manila Bay from the city of Navotas to the province of Cavite. Reclamation projects have been met with opposition and criticism, especially from environmental groups.
Manila Solar City(also known as Solar City Manila) is an under-construction mixed-used development to be built on a 148 hectare reclaimed land in Manila Bay adjacent to the north of the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex and west of the Manila Yacht Club. It will be developed by the consortium of the Manila Goldcoast Development Corporation and the City of Manila.
The Navotas Boulevard Business Park is an under-construction commercial and business center in Navotas. It will rise on 650-hectare (6.5 km2) reclaimed land, and has been under-construction since 2019. The development is envisioned to create a mixed-use community with residential, institutional, commercial and industrial areas suitable for port facilities, marine and tourism. Its master plan was designed by Surbana Jurong.
Weslie "Wes" Ting Gatchalian is a Filipino politician who has served as the 27th mayor of Valenzuela since 2022. A member of the Nationalist People's Coalition, Gatchalian was first elected to public office in 2013, as the party-list representative of Alay Buhay Partylist, serving until 2016, where he was elected as the district representative for Valenzuela's 1st district. As a representative, Gatchalian served as House Deputy Speaker from 2020 to 2022.
Pasay Harbor City is a reclaimed area on Manila Bay. It is under the jurisdiction of Pasay, Philippines.
