The Riviera Maya is a tourism and resort district south of Cancun, Mexico. It straddles the coastal Federal Highway 307, along the Caribbean coastline of the state of Quintana Roo, located in the eastern portion of the Yucatán Peninsula. Historically, this district started at the city of Playa del Carmen and ended at the village of Tulum, although the towns of Puerto Morelos, situated to the north of Playa del Carmen, as well as the town of Felipe Carrillo Puerto, situated 40 kilometres (25 mi) to the south of Tulum, are both currently being promoted as part of the Riviera Maya tourist corridor.
Garitas or Retenes are federal inspection stations operated by the Mexican government. They are officially known as "Garitas de Revisión" (checkpoints). They are usually located within 50 kilometres (31 mi) of the national border with the United States, Belize, and Guatemala. They function as immigration checkpoints, where documents and cargo are to be inspected.
Alberta Provincial Highway No. 628, commonly referred to as Highway 628, is a highway in the province of Alberta, Canada that runs west to east through the Edmonton Capital Region in two sections. The western 19-kilometre-long (12 mi) section runs from the town of Stony Plain to the Edmonton city limits at 231 Street. The eastern 6-kilometre-long (4 mi) section, also known as a Whitemud Extension, runs from Anthony Henday Drive to Highway 21 just south of Sherwood Park. It continues further past Half Moon Lake to Wye Road (Highway 630) near North Cooking Lake.
Federal Highway 180 is a Mexican Federal Highway that follows Mexico's Gulf and Caribbean Coast from the Mexico-U.S. border at Brownsville, Texas, into Matamoros, Tamaulipas, to the resort city of Cancún, Quintana Roo, in the Yucatán Peninsula. Although the highway is numbered as a west-east route, it initially follows a north-south alignment through Tamaulipas and Veracruz.
Federal Highway 281 is a Federal Highway of Mexico, located entirely within the state of Yucatán. It connects Celestún to Mérida, with a 23.2-kilometre (14.4 mi) spur from Hunucmá to Sisal. Within Mérida, the street is known as Avenida Jacinto Canek.

The 3.8 km (2.4 mi) federal highway connects Tanjung Malim North Interchange of the Tanjung Malim-Slim River Highway to Proton City in the east. It is a main route to Proton City. Huhí Municipality (In the Yucatec Maya Language: “place of the iguanas” is one of the 106 municipalities in the Mexican state of Yucatán containing 191.61 square kilometres of land and located roughly 70 kilometres southeast of the city of Mérida. It is bounded on the north by Sanahcat, on the south by Sotuta and Tekit, and on the east and west by Kantunil Homún.
Sanahcat Municipality is one of the 106 municipalities in the Mexican state of Yucatán. It contains 54.93 square kilometres (21.21 sq mi) of land and is located roughly 52 kilometres (32 mi) southeast of the city of Mérida. It is bounded on the north by Hocabá – Xocchel, on the south by Huhí, on the east Kantunil, and the west by Homún. In the Yucatec Maya language, its name means "legume of Tzalam."

Federal Highway 305D is a toll highway in Quintana Roo. It serves as a spur of Federal Highway 180D (Mérida-Cancún) to Playa del Carmen, creating a direct connection between Yucatán and Playa del Carmen and avoiding detours through Cancún or Tulum.
Federal Highway 180D is the toll highways paralleling Highway 180 in seven separate segments of highway. Three are in Veracruz:, the Libramiento de Cardel, the highway from Cardel to Veracruz, and the Nuevo Teapa-Cosoleacaque highway. Four segments exist beyond Veracruz: one between Agua Dulce and Cárdenas, Tabasco, facilitating a connection from the city of Coatzacoalcos in Veracruz; a bypass of Villahermosa; one connecting Champotón to Campeche City, Campeche; and another connecting the cities of Mérida, Yucatán, and Cancún, Quintana Roo. An additional segment, connecting the latter highway to Playa del Carmen, is officially part of Highway 180D, but is signaged as Highway 305D.

Federal Highway 80D is the designation for toll highways paralleling Mexican Federal Highway 80. There are two such roads, one between Zapotlanejo and Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco and the other connecting Lagos de Moreno to San Luis Potosí City.
Federal Highway 150D is a toll highway connecting Mexico City to Veracruz City via Puebla City and Córdoba. It serves as one of the backbones of Mexico's toll road system. The road is primarily operated by Caminos y Puentes Federales, which charges cars 520 pesos to travel Highway 150D, with one segment in the Puebla metropolitan area built and maintained by OHL and PINFRA.
Federal Highway 15D is the name for toll highways paralleling Federal Highway 15. The toll segments of Highway 15D include some of the most significant highways in the country along the Nogales-Mexico City corridor. The highway is the southern terminus of the CANAMEX Corridor, a trade corridor that stretches from Mexico north across the United States to the Canadian province of Alberta.
Federal Highway 2D is a part of the federal highways corridors, and is the designation for toll highways paralleling Mexican Federal Highway 2. Seven road segments are designated Highway 2D, all but one in the state of Baja California, providing a toll highway stretching from Tijuana in the west to around Mexicali in the east; one in Sonora, between Santa Ana and Altar; and another between the cities of Matamoros and Reynosa in Tamaulipas.
