The Miss Chinese International Pageant 2006 was held on January 21, 2006 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. At the end of the event, Miss Chinese International 2005 Leanne Li of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned Ina Lu of Johannesburg, South Africa as the new Miss Chinese International.
The theme to this year's pageant is "Millions of Colours, The Most Beautiful Chinese" 「萬千色彩 最美華裔」. The Masters of Ceremonies include Eric Tsang, Sammy Leung, and Derek Li. Special performing guest were cantopop singers Justin Lo and Kenny Kwan. The delegate from Montréal, (11) Vicki Ng-Wan withdrew from competition. The competition this year marked the lowest contestant turnout until 2013, with only 17 delegates competing, including one who withdrew from competition. The 2016 pageant currently has the lowest contestant count with 14.
The promotional advertisement for this pageant, entitled "Eternal Beauty" (絕色篇) starring Fala Chen won the Best Promotional Clip Award at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2006.

The Miss Hong Kong Pageant, or Miss HK (港姐) for short, is an annual beauty pageant organised by local Hong Kong television station, TVB. The pageant was established in 1946, and acquired by TVB in 1973.
Miss Chinese International Pageant, or MCI for short, is an annual international beauty pageant, organized and broadcast by TVB, a network television station in Hong Kong. It was established in 1988 and the Chinese name of the pageant was rebranded in 2007.
Mandy Lee Cho is a Hong Kong beauty contestant and television personality.
ATV Miss Asia Pageant is an annual Hong Kong-based beauty pageant organized and broadcast by Asia Television (ATV). Originating in 1985 as a local Hong Kong pageant, the contest went on a hiatus from 2000 through 2003, and was re-branded as an Asian pageant in 2004, with contestants spanning the continent of Asia. The pageant was ceased to exist in 2015 with the shutdown of its organizer, ATV.
Aimee Chan or Chan Yan-mei is a Canadian born actress based in Hong Kong. She was the winner of Miss Hong Kong 2006 and was offered a TVB contract shortly after.
Miss Hong Kong 2007 pageant, the 35th Miss Hong Kong pageant was held in the Hong Kong Coliseum on 21 July 2007. Sixteen delegates competed for the title. Contestant #3: Kayi Cheung was crowned the winner by outgoing titleholder, Aimee Chan.

Alejandra Andreu of Spain crowned Anagabriela Espinoza of Mexico as the new titleholder.

The 17th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2005 was held on January 29, 2005 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. Miss Chinese International 2004 Linda Chung of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned Leanne Li as the new winner. Li was the fourth winner from Vancouver to win the crown and the second time a consecutive win occurred.
The 4th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 1992 was held on January 26, 1992 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. Miss Chinese International 1991 Yen-Thean Leng crowned Rosemary Chan of Toronto, Ontario, Canada as the winner. It was also the first victory for Canada and North America. As of 2010, Toronto would win the crown for two more times.
Rebecca Zhu is a Hong Kong actress and a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Hong Kong 2011. As a result of her pageant win, Zhu was offered a starring role in the 2012 TVB television drama Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles, which was also her acting debut.

The Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2018 (2018香港小姐競選) was the 46th Miss Hong Kong pageant held in TVB City, Hong Kong on 26 August 2018. 20 delegates competed for this title.
The 30th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2019 was held on March 2, 2019. Miss Chinese International 2018 Rose Li of New York City, USA crowned her successor Hera Chan of Hong Kong at the end of the pageant.
The Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2021 was the 49th Miss Hong Kong Pageant that was held on September 12, 2021. Miss Hong Kong 2020 winner Lisa-Marie Tse crowned the new Miss Hong Kong 2021 winner, Sabina Mendes de Assunção (宋宛穎), at the end of the pageant. Her official name is Sabina, but she goes by Sabrina.
