The 15th anniversary of the pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2003 was held on January 25, 2003 in Hong Kong. TVB of Hong Kong broadcast and distributed the pageant worldwide. In the end, Miss Chinese International 2002 Shirley Zhou of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned Rachel Tan of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as the new winner. As of 2010, it still is Kuala Lumpur's only win.
The theme to this year's pageant is "Snow Reflects Beauty in Different Colours, Chinese Beauty of Fifteen Years" 「雪映佳人放異彩 華裔艷倩十五年」. The Masters of Ceremonies include Priscilla Ku, Sonjia Kwok, Cutie Mui, and Louis Yuen. Special performing guests were cantopop singer Kelly Chen, Miss Chinese International 1999, Michelle Ye and Miss Chinese International 2000 Sonjia Kwok.

The Miss Hong Kong Pageant, or Miss HK (港姐) for short, is an annual beauty pageant organized by local Hong Kong television station, TVB.
Miss Chinese International Pageant, or MCI for short, is an annual international beauty pageant, organized and broadcast by TVB, a leading network television station in Hong Kong.
Sonija Kwok is a Hong Kong actress, worked for TVB till her contract expired in July 2015 and decided not to renew it.
Tiffany Lam or Tiffany Lam Man Lei is a former beauty queen from San Francisco. She held the title of Miss Hong Kong 2002 and Miss Chinese International 2003 runner up.
Rachel Tan Weng Kim, 陈泳锦, is a former Miss Chinese International who represented Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia when she captured the prestigious title in Hong Kong, in 2003. She was 20 when she competed and was the only Malaysian to ever hold the title, though Malaysian representatives have a striking track record in the pageant.
Sherine Wong Sook Ling was a winner of Miss Malaysia Universe in 1998 and represented Malaysia in the Miss Universe 1998 pageant in Hawaii in United States. She is currently a full pledge model in Hong Kong.
The 17th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2005 was held on January 29, 2005 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. Miss Chinese International 2004 Linda Chung of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned Leanne Li as the new winner. Li was the fourth winner from Vancouver to win the crown and the second time a consecutive win occurred.

At the end of the event, Miss Chinese International 2005 Leanne Li of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned Ina Lu of Johannesburg, South Africa as the new Miss Chinese International.

At the end of the pageant, Miss Chinese International 2003 Rachel Tan of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia crowned Linda Chung of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as the new winner.
Miss Chinese International Pageant 1988, the 1st Miss Chinese International Pageant was held on October 2, 1988 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. At the end of the pageant, Run Run Shaw crowned Michelle Reis of Hong Kong as the first Miss Chinese International. Hong Kong would not win the pageant, until 12 years later when Sonija Kwok won the crown in 2000.
The 12th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2000 was held on February 6, 2000 in Las Vegas. For the first time ever, the pageant moved out of Hong Kong, and was held at Caesars Palace. Miss Chinese International 1999 Michelle Ye of New York, USA crowned Sonija Kwok of Hong Kong as the new winner. The next time Hong Kong wins the pageant would be Grace Chan in 2014.
Miss Chinese International Pageant 1998 was held on January 25, 1998 in Hong Kong. The pageant was broadcast live through TVB and was streamed for the first time in Malaysia. Miss Chinese International 1997 Monica Lo of Toronto, Ontario, Canada crowned Louisa Luk of San Francisco, USA as the new winner. Luk is the first winner from the United States and San Francisco's only winner, as of 2010.
The 4th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 1992 was held on January 26, 1992 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. Miss Chinese International 1991 Yen-Thean Leng crowned Rosemary Chan of Toronto, Ontario, Canada as the winner. It was also the first victory for Canada and North America. As of 2010, Toronto would win the crown for two more times.
The 22nd Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2010 was held on November 5, 2010. Tianjin, China would host the pageant for the first time. TVB would broadcast the pageant one day later, delayed, for the first time ever. Miss Chinese International 2009 Christine Kuo of Toronto, Ontario, Canada crowned her successor, Eliza Sam of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at the end of the three-hour pageant, marking Vancouver's fifth win.
The 23rd Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2012 was held on January 15, 2012. Miss Chinese International 2010 Eliza Sam of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned her successor, Kelly Cheung of Chicago, USA at the end of the pageant. Cheung represented Hong Kong, China at Miss World 2012, becoming the first Miss Chinese International titleholder to represent the region in a Miss World Pageant that is not a Miss Hong Kong Pageant titleholder.
Miss Chinese International Pageant 1997 was held on January 26, 1997 in Hong Kong. The pageant was organized and broadcast by TVB in Hong Kong. Miss Chinese International 1996 Siew-Kee Cheng crowned Monica Lo of Toronto, Ontario, Canada as the winner.
The 26th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2015 was held on January 25, 2015. Miss Chinese International 2014 Grace Chan of Hong Kong crowned her successor, Mandy Chai of Sydney, Australia at the end of the pageant.
The 28th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2017 was held on January 15, 2017. Miss Chinese International 2016 Jennifer Coosemans of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada crowned her successor Stitch Yu of New York City at the end of the pageant.
Josephine Tan Yee Mei is a Malaysian model and a beauty pageant titleholder. In 2016, she became the first ever Malaysian to win Supermodel International.
The 29th Miss Chinese International Pageant, Miss Chinese International Pageant 2018 was held on February 3, 2018. Miss Chinese International 2017 Stitch Yu of New York City, USA crowned her successor Rose Li of New York City, United States at the end of the pageant.
