Miss World 1995, the 45th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 18 November 1995 for the fourth straight year at the Sun City Entertainment Centre in Sun City, South Africa. The 1995 pageant attracted 84 delegates. The pageant was hosted by Richard Steinmetz, Jeff Trachta, and Bobbie Eakes and also involved supermodels Linda Evangelista and Beverly Peele and Bruce Forsyth who acted as presenters. Aside from Sun City; Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and the Comoros hosted some segments of the show. The winner was Jacqueline Aguilera of Venezuela. She was crowned by Miss World 1994, Aishwarya Rai of India.

Miss Earth 2002, the 2nd edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held at Folk Arts Theater in Pasay, Philippines on October 20, 2002. In its second year, 53 delegates participated, exceeding the number of contestants in Miss International 2002, thereby becoming the world's third biggest international pageant in terms of number of contestants.

Miss International 2005, the 45th Miss International pageant, was held on September 26, 2005 at the Koseinenkin Hall in Tokyo, Japan. 52 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Jeymmy Vargas of Colombia crowned her successor Lara Quigaman of the Philippines as the new Miss International. She became the fourth Filipino to win the pageant.

Miss International 2004, the 44th Miss International pageant, was held on October 16, 2004 at the Workers Indoor Arena in Beijing, China. This is the first time event to be held in China for contest was being held outside of Japan and the United States are headquarter's homecountry. 58 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Miss International 2003, Goizeder Azua of Venezuela, crowned her successor Jeymmy Vargas of Colombia as the new Miss International.

Miss International 1970, the 10th anniversary of the Miss International pageant, was held on May 16, 1970 at the Exposition Hall Fairgrounds in Osaka, Japan. 47 contestants competed for the pageant. Aurora Pijuan from Philippines was crowned Miss International 1970 at the end of the event by outgoing titleholder, Valerie Holmes from Britain.

Reinas de Costa Rica is a national beauty pageant in Costa Rica that selects representatives to the Miss World and Miss International pageant. After the Miss Costa Rica pageant stopped sending contestants to the Miss World and Miss International pageants in 2006, the franchise was acquired by the Reinas de Costa Rica organization presided by Alan Aleman. However, after two years of absence in the Miss World pageant in 2017-2018, the organization eventually lost the franchise to the newly established contest, Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Costa Rica, in 2019. The organization also lost the Miss Earth franchise to Jose Vásconez in 2016.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss Grand Costa Rica</span> National beauty pageant in Costa Rica

Miss Grand Costa Rica is a San José-based female national beauty pageant in Costa Rica, organized separately for in first time in 2022 by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Costa Rica, with Erick Solis as the president. The winner of the contest represents the country at its parent competition, the Miss Grand International pageant. Before 2022, the competition license belonged to different organizers, such as the Reinas de Costa Rica organization (2015 – 2017) and the Miss Costa Rica organization (2018 – 2021). Most of the country's representatives at the Miss Grand International pageant during such a period were appointed without organizing the respective pageant.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Miss Grand Costa Rica 2022</span> 1st Miss Grand Costa Rica competition, beauty pageant edition

Miss Grand Costa Rica 2022 was the first edition of the Miss Grand Costa Rica beauty pageant, held at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre in San José on July 7, 2022. Twelve contestants, chosen to participate directly through the national casting held by the Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Costa Rica, competed for the title, of whom a 28-year-old model from Guanacaste, Brenda Muñoz, was named the winner. She then represented Costa Rica in the Miss Grand International 2022 pageant held on October 25 in Indonesia, but got a non-placement.
