Mithakali is a part of Ahmedabad city. Once a fairly nondescript and quiet place, it has recently seen a real estate explosion.
Today Mithakali is home to the Crosswords book store chain, the Pantaloons department store chain, the Westside stores chain which is a Tata company, the Subway sandwich store, Natural Ice cream, an Adidas showroom and many other big names that are opening up in Ahmedabad. Mahatma Gandhi International School is also based in this area.
A multi speciality hospital Medi-Surge is located in Mithakali. Mithakhali Multi Sports Complex is an Indoor Stadium located in the area and was built in 2007 for the purposed of promoting indoor sport in the city. [1]
Mithakali is also a hub for offices and small stores being located at one end of the C.G. Road.
Mitahakli is today used to refer to a large traffic circle with a 6-road intersection:
one road leads to Law Garden, one to C.G.Road, one to the Navrangpura Bus Stand, one to the Mount Carmel railway crossing, one towards Mitahakali village and one to Ashram Road through the Mercury underbridge.
Mithakali was once a village on the meter-gauge railway line. It was swallowed up by Ahmedabad city in its westward growth during the 1970s. On this site there is a map depicting the growth of Ahmedabad city. Though Mithakali isn't mentioned, it is in the light-blue zone shown as growing from 1970 to 1989. It is not far from Gandhigram station, which is shown.

Sainte-Catherine Street is the primary commercial artery of Downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Gurnee Mills is a shopping mall and outlet mall in Gurnee, Illinois, within the Chicago metropolitan area. Wonderland Village is an outdoor shopping center in Livonia, Michigan, United States, a suburb of Detroit. The center is located at the southwest corner of Middlebelt Road and Plymouth Road, approximately one mile south of I-96. Opened in 1959 as the outdoor Wonderland Center, it originally featured Montgomery Ward and Federal's as its major anchor stores. A 1980s renovation enclosed the formerly open-air complex and renamed it Wonderland Mall, by which point the anchor stores were Montgomery Ward, Service Merchandise, and Target. This configuration lasted throughout the late 1990s, by which point the closure of both Service Merchandise and Montgomery Ward had led to a number of vacancies. The center reopened officially in 2007.
Northwoods Mall is a 101-store super-regional 833,833-square-foot (77,465.6 m2) indoor shopping mall located in North Charleston, South Carolina. It is the second largest indoor shopping mall in the Tri-County area next to Citadel Mall. Built in 1972, the mall is located at the intersection of Rivers Avenue, Ashley Phosphate Road and Interstate 26. Northwoods Mall was the first regional indoor shopping mall constructed in the South Carolina lowcountry and featured Belk, Sears, and the locally owned Kerrison's department stores as its original anchor tenants. A food court offers options such as Charleys Philly Steaks and Sbarro. The mall's anchor stores are Dillard's, Belk, JCPenney and Burlington. Northwoods Mall also features Books-A-Million and Planet Fitness as inline junior anchors.

Lincoln Park Shopping Center was a shopping center located at the corner of Southfield Road and Dix Highway, mostly in Lincoln Park, Michigan, though a portion containing a former Farmer Jack supermarket and a former Wendy's restaurant lay in neighboring Allen Park. Anchored by Sears and completed by 1957, it was one of the first large-scale strip complexes in the Downriver Detroit suburbs prior to the 1970 opening of Southland Center.
Mithakhali Multi Sports Complex, an indoor stadium located in Mithakali, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India was built in 2007 to promote indoor sport in the city. It has an international standard table-tennis court, an outdoor basketball court and a badminton court. The stadium is owed and managed by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and has been host to national level games for roller skating and table tennis.
