Mo Bus is a public transport bus service run in Odisha. The Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT), a special purpose vehicle (SPV), formed under Housing and Urban Development Department of the Government of Odisha operates a fleet of 390 buses to and from the capital. The buses currently operate in two phases, another phase would be established, covering all major destinations across the Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Rourkela, Sambalpur, and Berhampur. [1] The service was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik on 6 November 2018.
The buses are equipped with Wi-Fi, closed-circuit television cameras, online ticketing systems and a smartphone application. [2] Automated fare collection system is also there for commuters in the form of the Odyssey City Card. [3]
Back-lit display signage board with city map, seating arrangements, poly-carbonate semitransparent roof cover, dustbins, vertical signage posts including Global Positioning System (GPS) based public information system showing real time information of the plying Mo Buses are featured in the bus queue shelters. The public information system is linked to the Bhubaneswar Operations Centre of the Bhubaneswar Smart City Limited. [4]
Mo Bus depots are assigned places in the served cities where the maintenance of Mo Bus is carried out alongside night parking and workshop facilities.
The origin–destination (OD) terminals are state-of-the-art bus terminals operated by Capital Region Urban Transport (CRUT) for the origins and destinations of the routes established. [5]

Bhubaneswar is the capital and largest city of the Indian state of Odisha, located in the Khordha district. The region, especially the old town, was historically often depicted as Chakra Kshetra and Ekamra Kshetra. Bhubaneswar is dubbed the "Temple City", a nickname earned because of the 700 temples which once stood there. In contemporary times, it has emerged as an education hub and an attractive business destination.
Odisha University of Technology and Research (OUTR) formerly College of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar (CETB) is a public unitary technical university under the state government of Odisha located in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Odisha, India. It was established in 1981, by Government of Orissa, as a constituent college of Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology. Students are admitted to the college through the Joint Entrance Examination (main) merit list of Government of India. The Institute is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. The Government of Odisha has granted unitary university status.
Naveen Patnaik is an Indian statesman, politician and writer serving as the current and 15 Chief Minister of Odisha representing the Hinjili Assembly constituency since 2000. He is the longest-serving chief minister of Odisha and as of 2024, one of the longest-serving chief ministers of any Indian state, holding the post for over two decades, and only the second Indian chief Minister after Pawan Chamling to win five consecutive terms as Chief Minister of an Indian state. He is the first president of the Biju Janata Dal since 1997. He served as the Union Minister of Steel and Mines from 1998 to 2000 and a member of the Lok Sabha from Aska from 1997 to 2000.
Biju Patnaik Airport is an international airport serving Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, India. It is situated around 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south-west of Bhubaneswar Railway Station and 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) from the city center. Named after the former chief minister of Odisha, Biju Patnaik, a famed aviator and freedom fighter, it is the 17th busiest airport in India and 11th busiest among the airports maintained by Airports Authority of India.

Rangeilunda Airport, also known as Brahmapur Airport, is a domestic airport serving the city of Berhampur in Odisha, India. It is located adjacent to Berhampur University at Rangeilunda, 10 km (6.2 mi) east of the city centre and 5 km (3.1 mi) from the famous Gopalpur-on-Sea beach. The airstrip was built by the British during World War II.

Veer Surendra Sai Airport, also known as Jharsuguda Airport, is a domestic airport serving Jharsuguda, Odisha, India. The airport is located 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north-east from the city centre. The airport is located in Durlaga, approximately 8.5 km (5.3 mi) from Jharsuguda Junction Railway Station and around 63 kilometres from Sambalpur city. The airport is named after the revolutionary Veer Surendra Sai and it is the second commercial airport in the state of Odisha. The airport caters to areas like districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundergarh, Bargarh and Debagarh.
The Odisha Legislative Assembly is the unicameral state legislature of Odisha state in India. The seat of the Legislative Assembly is at Bhubaneswar, the capital of the state. The Legislative Assembly comprises 147 Members of Legislative Assembly. Out of total 147 Assembly Constituencies of Odisha Legislative Assembly, 33 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 24 seats for the Scheduled Castes (SC). It was announced by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik that the Sachivalaya or the Secretariat building in Bhubaneswar will be called Lok Seva Bhavan.
Bhubaneswar City Bus or Dream Team Shahara is a public transport bus service run in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. It is run in public–private partnership between Bhubaneswar-Puri Transport Service Limited (BPTSL) and Dream Team Shahara (DTS) under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission. A fleet of 150 buses cover all major destinations across the city; and with Cuttack, Puri and Khordha. The service was started in October 2010. The bus depot is one of the main bus stands connecting to all the other smaller bus stands throughout the city.

Baramunda Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) is the major bus terminus in the city from where buses ply to all the districts in Odisha as well as to neighbouring state's cities like Hyderabad, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Raipur and Ranchi. City bus service runs in public-private partnership between Bhubaneswar-Puri Transport Service Limited (BPTSL) and Dream Team Sahara (DTS) under JNNURM scheme. A fleet of 185 buses cover all major destinations including Cuttack, Puri and Khordha. Auto rickshaws are available for hire and on a share basis throughout the city. In parts of the city, cycle rickshaws offer short trips. To ease traffic jams, over-bridges at major road junctions and expansion of roads are under construction. In a study of six cities in India, Bhubaneswar was ranked third concerning pedestrian infrastructure. The city scored 50 points out of maximum 100. The government of Odisha introduced the much-awaited Bhubaneswar BRTS in Bhubaneswar.
The Bhubaneswar Metro is a rapid transit system proposed for Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khordha, and Puri, in Odisha, India. In the first phase, a 30 km (19 mi) metro trunk route will be created from Trisulia near Cuttack to the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar. Plans are in place to eventually expand to Khordha and Puri.
The Khurda Road-Bolangir line is a rail line between Khurda Road Junction and Balangir which is under construction.
Pratap Jena is an Indian politician and the Former Cabinet Minister in the Sixteenth Odisha Legislative Assembly with Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water, Law, Housing & Urban Development portfolios (2019–2022). He is elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly for the fifth consecutive time from Mahanga constituency of Kendrapara. He is also the General secretary of the farmers wing of Biju Janata Dal, Biju Krushak Janata Dal. Earlier, he had served as the Minister of School and Mass Education during his third term (2009–2012) and as the Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Law and Information & Public Relations in his fourth term (2017–2019) in the assembly.

Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana is a universal health coverage scheme launched by Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik. The program extends coverage to approximately 70 lakh families, with the state government allocating a budget of 250 crore rupees. Services:
Amar Patnaik is a former Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer under the Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) of India and former Principal Accountant General (PAG) of Sikkim, Odisha, West Bengal, and Kerala. He opted for voluntary retirement, nine years before completion of his service and joined Biju Janata Dal in the presence of party president and CM Naveen Patnaik on 29 August 2018. Since 28 June 2019, he is the member of the Parliament of India representing Odisha in the Rajya Sabha and general secretary of the BJD Parliamentary Party office, the upper house. He heads the IT-Wing and is also a spokesperson of Biju Janata Dal.
Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal or CNBT, is a hi-tech bus stand currently being built by the Odisha Bridge and Construction Corporation (OBCC) over 14.95 acres of land in Khannagar, Cuttack at a cost of ₹90.2 crores. A three-storey bus terminal building has been constructed over two acre land with numerous facilities in offing. The bus terminal is named after the illustrious son of Odisha, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose.
Puri International Airport is a proposed international airport in the Indian state Odisha, which will primarily serve the Puri region. Named after Jagannath, the airport is officially named Shree Jagannath International Airport (SJIA).
Malkangiri Airport is a domestic airport serving the city of Malkangiri in the state of Odisha, India. It is owned by the Government of Odisha, and is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). It is located at Nilimari, 8 km (5.0 mi) south-east from the city centre. The airport has been developed as a regional airport under the government's UDAN Scheme.
