Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation, abbreviated GSRTC, is a Government State Transport Undertaking of Gujarat for passengers facilitating with road public transport in moffusil / city services. GSRTC operates within the state of Gujarat, India and neighboring states. It has a fleet of 8703 buses.
GSRTC has been incorporated since 1 May 1960 with 7 divisions, 76 depots and 7 divisional workshops, which has been expanding. The public undertaking is covering 98% of the villages and 99% population of Gujarat in addition to plying to major cities of the country (in long-distance routes).

It is as per the vision of the Prime Minister when he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat to facelift the bus terminals with facilities that are available at international airports. The government has already built six such bus terminals - two in Ahmedabad at Gita Mandir and Ranip, two in Vadodara at Central and Makarpura, at Surat and Mehsana.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani now proposed to build ten modern district level bus terminals at Amreli, Bhuj, Bharuch, Rajkot, Nadiad, Navsari, Modasa, Patan and Palanpur at a cost of Rs.913.30-crore with facilities for commercial activities. Boat jetties are also planned along with helipads. Every bus station will offer direct flights to Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. GSRTC is training its drivers to fly helicopters and planes to start service. All these ten bus terminals, to be designed, built, operated and transfer model, will have a digital display, variable message sign boards, CCTV cameras, surveillance system, deluxe waiting hall, tourist information centre, cloakrooms, restaurants, food courts, plaza, budget hotels, and multiplex for commercial activities, besides Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) administrative office, parcel room, maintenance workshop and fuel pumps. The bus terminals will have a clause for maintenance and repairs as and when required for 30 years.
GSRTC purchased 1500+ new buses including air conditioned, Sleeper coaches Volvo buses in 2009 and also purchased 1000+ new Intercity Mini buses in 2017. [6] GSRTC daily 28 lakh kilometre with 40000 trips and catering daily 24 lakh passengers ... GSRTC provides online and mobile phone ticket booking facility. [7] [8] It also provides wi-fi internet service in Volvo buses for free. [9] Currently the fleet of buses having online ticket booking facility includes Express, Gurjarnagri, Sleeper and Volvo buses. GSRTC has established its Command & Control Center of GSRTC at Central Office, Ranip, Ahmedabad. 24 × 7 rigorous monitoring of various parameters in CCC (Command & Control Center) & DCCC (Division Command & Control Center) through various IT tools, i.e.,

The Western Railway is one of the 19 zones of Indian Railways and is among the busiest railway networks in India, headquartered at Mumbai, Maharashtra. The major railway routes of Indian Railways which come under Western Railways are: Mumbai Central–Ratlam, Mumbai Central–Ahmedabad and Palanpur–Ahmedabad. The railway system is divided into six operating divisions: Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Ratlam, and Mumbai WR. Vadodara railway station, being the junction point for the Ahmedabad–Mumbai route and the Mumbai–Ratlam route towards New Delhi, is the busiest junction station in Western Railways and one of the busiest junctions of Indian Railways too, while Ahmedabad Division earns highest revenue followed by Mumbai Division and Vadodara Division. Surat railway station is one of the busiest railway station in Western Railway in non-junction category where more than 180 trains pass per day.
Mehsana, also spelled Mahesana, is a city and Municipal corporation in Mehsana district, in the Indian state of Gujarat. Established in 14th century, the city was under Gaekwads of Baroda State from 18th century to the independence of India in 1947. The municipality was established in 1919–20 and the plan to form Municipal Corporation was announced in 2024. The town has population of about 185,000. Dairy, oil and natural gas are major industries while there are several small and medium enterprises in the city.

Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) is a public transport company which provides bus services in the Indian state Rajasthan. It is headquartered in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The corporation was established by Government of Rajasthan on 1 October 1964 under the Road Transport Act 1950. RSRTC operates ordinary, express and deluxe services. It has 4100 buses in its fleet, 52 depots across Rajasthan and 3 depots outside the state i.e. Indore, Ahmedabad and Delhi. There are around 2230 routes covered which amount to 5437.74 lakh km per year. It carries around 9 lakh passengers per day to their destinations within and outside the state. RSRTC operates services in Rajasthan and adjoining states of Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir and Chandigarh. Ticket reservation is available at all bus stations free of charge. Online ticket facility is available for Air conditioned, Deluxe, Semi-deluxe and express buses through Kiosks in Rajasthan as well as through RSRTC mobile application.
The Ahmedabad Vadodara Expressway or Mahatma Gandhi Expressway or National Expressway 1 is an expressway connecting the cities of Ahmedabad and Vadodara in the state of Gujarat, India. The 93.1 km (57.8 mi) long expressway reduces the travel time between the two cities from two and a half hours to an hour. It was declared as National Expressway 1 in 1986.

Surat City Bus is the name under which city buses are operated in Surat, Gujarat, India. It is operated by a private entity-‘Sitilink’ under a public private partnership model for the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC). The model is based on an earlier model by the Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTS) which operated bus services in Ahmedabad on a public-private partnership, but subsequently failed. In 2012, the Government of Gujarat announced that it would set up similar transport facilities in 180 cities across the state under a public-private partnership.
Nadiad Junction is a major railway station in the Kheda district of Gujarat State of India. It serves Nadiad city. It is under Vadodara railway division of Western Railway zone of Indian Railways. It is "A" category railway station of Western Railway Zone of Indian Railways. It has four platforms. Each day five train originate from Nadiad Junction. Nadiad Junction handles more than 100 trains daily. If one wants to travel to Modasa, Kapadvanj, Petlad and Bhadran, they can change the train route from here. Indian Railways has decided to convert Nadiad-Bhadran Narrow Gauge Line to Broad Gauge line and Modasa line to be extended to Shamlaji.
