Montenegro Country in Southeastern Europe

Montenegro is a country in Southeastern Europe. It is located on the Adriatic Sea and is a part of the Balkans, sharing borders with Serbia to the northeast, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the north and west, Kosovo to the east, Albania to the southeast, and the Adriatic Sea and Croatia to the southwest. Slovenian Chess Championship

The Slovenian Chess Championship is the national chess championship held in Slovenia. The championship has been played since the 1950s, first as a regional championship in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, and after the independence of Slovenia as a national championship. Before 1991, the championship was usually played as a qualifier for the Yugoslav Chess Championship in which not always the best players participated. This is because the best Slovenian players were often automatically qualified for the championship based on rating or performance in other tournaments.

The Croatian Chess Championship is the annual individual national chess championship of Croatia.

Montenegro womens national volleyball team

The Montenegro women's national volleyball team is the national team of Montenegro. It is governed by the Volleyball Federation of Montenegro and takes part in international volleyball competitions.

Montenegro has recognised same-sex unions since 15 July 2021. In July 2020, the Parliament of Montenegro passed a bill, by 42 votes to 5, to recognise life partnerships for same-sex couples. It was signed into law on 3 July by President Milo Đukanović and will be applicable from 2021.

Luka Lenič Slovenian chess grandmaster (born 1988)

Luka Lenič is a Slovenian chess grandmaster. He is the top ranked chess player of his country. Lenič won the under-14 division of the World Youth Chess Championships in Heraklion in 2002. He won the Slovenian Chess Championship in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013. Lenič has played for the Slovenian national team in the Chess Olympiad, European Team Chess Championship, Mitropa Cup and European Youth Team Championship. He competed in the FIDE World Cup in 2017.

AK Nikšić is an athletics club from Nikšić, Montenegro. It was founded on 31 July 1997 by former marathoner Drago Musić. It competes in domestic competitions sanctioned by the Athletic Federation of Montenegro. It is also one of the most prolific organizers of cross country and road races in Montenegro.

The Montenegrin Volleyball League is the highest level of men's volleyball in Montenegro and it is organized by Montenegrin Volleyball Federation. In the Montenegrin Volleyball League currently competes 8 clubs.

Stefan Bečanović is a Montenegrin sprinter. He represented Montenegro at the 2009 Summer Universiade in the 400 and 800 metre-races. He is the son of former judoka Dragomir Bečanović.

The Democratic Front is a right-wing populist and social conservative political alliance in Montenegro. It is currently composed of the New Serb Democracy (NSD), Movement for Changes (PzP), Democratic People's Party (DNP), True Montenegro (PCG), United Montenegro (UCG) and Workers' Party (RP). The main goal of the DF is to overthrow the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro (DPS), which was in power in country since introduction of the multi-party system in 1990, until 2020 parliamentary election.

The 2020–21 Prva A Liga is the 15th season of the Montenegrin Basketball League, the top tier basketball league on Montenegro. No team from the last season was relegated, while KK Podgorica and KK Pljevlja were promoted. In this season, 8 teams from Montenegro will participate in basketball international competitions which have been the most ever.
