Ogbomosho North is a Local Government Area in Oyo State, Nigeria. Its headquarter is at Kinnira currently headed by the chairman, Kabir Akanji.
The local government serves as a home to one of Nigeria institution of learning, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) and it's teaching hospital.
Also, the Nigerian Baptist Medical Center and Bowen University Teaching hospital are situated there. [1] Yoruba language is widely used in the Local Government Area, and Christianity and Islam are prevalent religions in the region. Ogbomoso North Local Government Area was established on the 27th of September 1991, derived from the former Ogbomoso Local Government Area which was however established on 1 April 1973. [2]

NSChE was officially inaugurated on 12 March 1969 at a meeting at BP House in Lagos attended by twenty four Chemical Engineers, all trained abroad.
