P. Chikkamuni Mohan (born 24 July 1963) is an Indian politician and member of the 17th Lok Sabha from Bangalore Central constituency. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] He is a Member of the Parliamentary Committees on External Affairs and Urban Development. Member of BJP for more than two decades, he served as the party's Treasurer and President of the state's OBC wing.
An experienced Parliamentarian and grassroots leader, PC Mohan was previously elected twice to the Karnataka Assembly in 1999 and 2004 from Chickpet constituency in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
As a Member of the Standing committee on Urban Development, Mohan played a crucial role and made significant efforts to improve Bengaluru's infrastructure and transportation issues including the expansion of Metro rail in Bengaluru. In March 2024, he was re-fielded as the BJP candidate for the Bangalore central constituency in the 2024 General Elections, a post which he has held thrice in the past. [2]

P.C. Mohan was a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from Chickpet constituency from 1999 to 2008. Out of 37 candidates in 2009, he won the 15th Lok Sabha elections with 340,162 votes against H.T. Sangliana of the INC who received 304,944 votes.
P.C. Mohan represents Bangalore Central constituency at the Parliament.
Mohan held the seat (he previously won in 2009) with 557,130 votes, a margin of 137,500 over his nearest rival, Rizwan Arshad of the Indian National Congress, who received 419,630 votes. [3] [4]
Haradanahalli Doddegowda Deve Gowda is an Indian politician who served as the 11th prime minister of India from 1 June 1996 to 21 April 1997. He was previously the 14th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996. He presently is a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha representing Karnataka. He is the national president of the Janata Dal (Secular) party. Born in a farming family, he joined the Indian National Congress party in 1953, and remained a member until 1962. He was imprisoned during the Emergency. He became President of the state unit of Janata Dal in 1994, and was considered to be a driving force in the party's victory in Karnataka. He served as the 8th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996. In the 1996 general elections, no party won enough seats to form a government. When the United Front, a coalition of regional parties, formed the central government with the support of the Congress, Deve Gowda was unexpectedly chosen to head the government and was elected Prime Minister. During his tenure as prime minister, he also served as Home Minister for some time. His prime ministerial tenure lasted for less than a year. After his prime ministerial tenure, he was elected to the 12th (1998), 14th (2004), 15th, and 16th Lok Sabha, as Member of Parliament for the Hassan Lok Sabha constituency. He lost Lok Sabha elections in 2019 from Tumkuru but has been elected to Rajya Sabha since.
Basangouda Ramangouda Patil Yatnal is an Indian BJP politician who was the Minister of state for Textiles from 1 July 2002 to 8 September 2003 and Minister of state for Railways from 8 September 2003 to 16 May 2004 and current MLA from Bijapur City Assembly constituency since 2018. He has been a member of parliament from the Bijapur constituency for two terms and has been a member of the legislative council from the Bijapur Local Authorities constituency for one term.

He is the son of former prime minister of India & former Chief Minister of Karnataka H. D. Deve Gowda.
